Should I ask for his number, or give him my number?

I've known this guy from work this summer. I really like him, and asked him to hang out sometime. He said yea, but we both already had plans that weekend... should I give him MY number, or should I ask for HIS number? Would giving him my number make him feel pressured to call? (I hope not)

So since I've already introduced the going out idea in person to him, I was thinking of just writing him a sticky note with "Call me sometime! 555-555-5555" and sticking it next to him while he's at his desk. Ask for HIS number, or give MINE?? Thank you guys, hope you can help me....

ask him for his. . . .then you are in control, you decide when to call him etc.

but if he gets your number, he might call you he might not and you'll be left wondering when, you know.

You don't mention how old you are. I've always found that when a guy (whatever the age) is interested in you, he will find away to get a hold of you. Be it asking you for your number, asking a friend of yours (which the friend should decline to give it out) or hey! look it up in the phone book (if he is interested, he should know your last name by now), either way, I feel that you have already opened the door for a get together and he has, for whatever reason, not walked through it. There could be many reasons, but just wait it out. Let him over hear about your great time this past weekend, or that you and some friends went out to the movies, bowling or mini golf on Thurs or whatever. Let him see that you are not just sitting around waiting for him. All males like a challenge. It's in their genes. If something is too easy to get they often will move on once it's been gotten. Don't let this guy turn you into another needy, wanting female. Let him think you are so fun to be with, that he wants to be with you too.

give him your number...make him put the moves on you. dont look needy in front of him. besides..its that way that youll see if he really wants you
