why do people cheat when they say they love you?

ive been with him 4 9 years have a 7 year old son we have a great sex life and r very close he is very loving but still did it i do every thing for him he tells me he loves me every day should i leave as its making me feel low or do i stay and give it another go

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. People who would cheat ion you(or anyone)they say they love. Are lying to you(and maybe themselves). The reason behind the cheating can stem from many things. Not having enough sex, or sex in the manner they believe they should be getting it. Selfishness. Never being satisfied with what and who they have. Vanity. Being able to say they can have anyone sexually. Sadly, in this society sex has been reduced to a mere commodity. Just another motion to go through when meeting someone, or activity to go through. People want to believe they have sex because they love the person they are having it with. That makes it seem less dirty and debase, when in truth. Most just are in it for their own pleasure. In a nut shell. If they cheat n you, they certainly do not respect you. Because, they sneaked around behind your back to betray your trust. It is logically little difference if they rifled your purse and took money or checks without telling you. And how can you love anyone you would so willingly betray?

Cheating normally has very little to do with sex, it usually signals an underlying problem in the relationship. One partner is normally not getting something they need from the relationship, whether it be emotionally, mentally or physically. Communication is the most important part of a relationship, and sometimes couples don't communicate what they need or their partner isn't listening. This is what normally leads to cheating. Love has very little to do with sex, it's more an emotional connection that sex just happens to be a part of, you have to work at it to keep it strong.

Cheating wouldn't happen if people were not such selfish, frigid as*holes, and took the time to please each other a little more. Women especially I find are like this, they don't make any effort to enjoy sex, when really, sex is one of the most wonderful things ABOUT a relationship.

If your partner is cheating, honestly ask yourself WHY. If you think it could be something you did (or more likely did not) do, then it's time for you to assess your readiness for an adult relationship.

If not, dump them.

The word is used to loosely now a days and most just say it because it is the "proper" thing to do. For some it really means, "You will do for now till I find someone better." Plus they don't have the balls to just be honest and up front and tell you how it really is. Instead for them it is easier to deceive and lie.
