Im relatively young woman in my 20's, but havent dated in the past year and a half. I've been going through things in my life and realized that I want to start having a serious relationship. I am a busy person and am usually not around new people because of this, but then being around the same crowd and being lonely is making me develop feelings for close friends. I need to get out and meet new people, but it is hard when you go to school full time, work part time, and take care of two elderly (my grandparents live with me and i take care of them). I dont have time to get out much, and when i do have the time im passed out in bed. O, and I am also not the most presentable person...being busy does not give me much time to care about how i look so im usually donning my favorite basketball shorts with a hoody..

Dating is a very... bad way to met you new love? Really it is, nothing destroies the reality of friendship more then the fantasy of romance. Don't get me wrong romance is great! Only when its PART of the relationship, not the whole thing, and espacially not the beganing. Its a fantasy for crist sake! Ether way also realize that friends can become great lovers, but lovers rarly ever become great friends. Why is this important? BECAUSE! At the heart of every deep, meaningful relationship is a FRIENDSHIP! Don't let the stupid ideal that making friends lovers is such a bad thing, its only bad because most people don't communicate honestly and truthfully about there feelings, mostly because people are not honest with themselves. So it isn't that its a bad idea, its just that our society doesn't give us the mentality to actually do it right. But that the society not the individual, so don't you DARE let it hang you up form making a relationship that could survive the test of time!

shorts and hoodies sound cute. I am sorry for your dilemma. have you tried `friendfinder` or `adultfriendfinder`? you can meet up with people from your area and not ever have to see them again if you do not wish to. good luck
