ive known this girl for like a year now. weve beeen texting and been calling for a little bit. when i used to hang out with her she would sort of act like a flirt. then one day, i made the stupidest decision of my life. i told her that i liked her. she said that she looked at me as more of a brother than boyfriend. realizing the awkwardness we both decided to act normal and start with a clean slate. but when i saw her for the next time, i had the feeling that she was ignoring me and avoiding me. i dont care about getting with her anymore. i just want to re-establish our friendship because id rather have her in my life as a friend than not have her in it at all. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Its widely said or believed, that relationships in todays world are a lot better then they were 50 years. With the womens movements and people being to chose who they wanna do. And anytime you get what YOU want its always looked at as a good thing right? My question is have we really gotten better? Are really better now, then we 50 yrs ago.Yeah women are equal now,but their also cheating more.Yeah you can choose to do whatever YOU want, be with who ever want, when. But argubly that's led to of broken families and arguably a lot of selfishness within people.Have we gotten rid of the evil's or have traded evil's?I think the only difference now is YOU can do what YOU want. And as long as you get YOU want, then I guess its OK...right? Are things better or are the problems just masked under are own ego and the word "freemdom" and "choice?" What do you think? Are we better built for LOVE in todays world then we were 50 years ago?IF I'M NOT CLEAR WITH QUESTION, SORRY.

Sounds like an odd question, but you really have to wonder. There are so many women out there who think it's great when a man is loud, abrasive, bullying, self-absorbed, and crude. A lot of women see such a man as "confident" because he "does whatever he wants to".

On the other hand, a healthy, intelligent, respectful man is seen as being "boring" and "too nice".

The real kicker is that it's smart, successful, businesswomen who love the obnoxious men.

Why is that?

There's these two guys at my school named Andrew and Jonathan and someone told me that they had a crush on me. All the girls think they're ugly. I think they're kind of ugly too, but if an ugly guy likes you, does that mean you're ugly too?

We sent out wedding invitations and have received a RSVP. The invitations were made out to only Mr. and Mrs. It is a 6pm evening ceremony with a reception that goes until 10pm. We an open bar. They are charging over $30/person. We decided to not invite children, except nephew, and the wedding party children. How do we tell my fiance's co-worker that he can't bring his 3 young children? There is no reason why they should have thought the entire family was invited.

I'm having a winter wedding, in the evening. I'm really trying to pull off a lovely wedding on a budget. Flowers are expensive, and so I was thinking we could dim the lighting in the church sitting area (the front would be lit up for the guests to see us well) and have them walk with candles (big ones, so they won't drip on their dresses) and then they can set them down in the front of the church when they get up there as added decoration. What do you think? Good or no? Also, my fiance's family is pretty judgemental, and they are all in the wedding, so I'm not sure if they will go for the idea or not. Also, maybe we could decorate the candles with fake flowers with a hot glue gun or something (ideas for that would be great too.) Thanks!

I've known her for two months. She's an every guys friend. We hang out a lot-dinner, cooking, fireworks, sleeping together, talking, etc. We always talk or text every night and we talk to each other about anything. And I've started to like her but I know I don't want a relationship and I told her that. But I'm not sure what she thinks. Since I hide my feelings and tell her I'm not interested she says the same also. But we do stuff most friends don't do. We wrestle alone in her basement all the time and it gets very "rough" and "kinky", she dares me to get rougher, and tempts me a lot. But it seems she does that a lot with other guys (not sure). The other day, after hanging out in her basement, she just hugged me outside and we started making out (first time and already french, biting, etc.) I first didn't want to knowing that she might just be leading me on, but it got too passionate. And later I said I lost control but she said she liked it. What is going on here?

I recently seperated from my partner of 9 years ( 3months ago) It was my decesion to leave as was confused and anxious about what I was going to do with the rest of my life. I couldnt comphrehend that It was right in front of my eyes. We have 3 children together and generally we were very happy. Well he met someone almost instantly and has been with her for 10 weeks. Heres where it gets messy. I still love him with all my heart and want to peice my family back together. We have also been seeing eachother romatically for the last 6 weeks, he says he doesnt want to be with the other girl and wants to come home, he keeps saying he will break up with her but then never does. His excuses are that he doesnt want to hurt her, but he says he is going to, I just need to give him some time to sort it out. I love him so much, and I realise my mistake, I kick myself when ever I think about the fact that we were together and I let it go. What should I do?? Should I continue to wait??

I never used to be a jealous or insecure person but latley it seems like almost everything that comes out of my wifes mouth is a lie mostlly about insignificant minor details but its still lying and more important to me is the way she goes about it fully committing to the lie untill she is 100% busted. This behavior makes me think that she has other things to hide like another man. I have no evidence of this what so ever but the distrust which comes with being lied to by someone whom youve always trusted is just eating at me and i would love to hear some of your objective intelligent opponions on my situation...thanx

I just saw an ad for Yahoo Personals, and wondered "what did people do before online dating sites.. where do people meet their other 1/2 anyway?"

I've been with my fiance for 3 years. We met on Hotornot.com. The 2nd guy I met on there was him.. his profile was too cute and quirky to pass up. We went to high school together.. but I was his brother's age and he was a bit older.

Sometimes, I wonder if its just me and my wife getting into dispute arguements, about whos right or wrong. Is this normal or is this just me? I see other couples, who are completely happily married with each other, but I sometimes wonder, do they ever get into arguements at times? Not little arguements but big ones.
