My daddy is sending me to a STRICT boarding school and we leave at the end of next week. I feel this is being done AGAINST MY WILL, But he has made it EXTREMELY CLEAR, that this matter is not up for debate and I better accept it. This school will have ROTC, uniforms, no boys and I they want to BREAK MY SPIRIT. Consequently, my daddy and I have had many arguments, I have gotten punished a few times recently for obsessive BACK TALK, and lets call a SPADE A SPADE HERE and say that things are EXTREMELY STRAINED between us. In several days, my daddy will be driving me to this school and it's far away, I mean like 600-700 miles or something, it will be just us. How am I going to be able to STAND THIS?

He said as soon he gets home he is going to take my brother who is starting college and that is only like 100 miles or something.

Please note my mom is not with us anymore.

Also, please note, I am 16 and rather spoiled.

Thank you and good day,

I've called Davids Bridal about two weeks ago and they haven't gotten back. I'm going to ask around for another place but was curious of what to expect. Thanks.

I have 3 men in my life. One is a married man whom I have been seeing for a long time and I understand that I am not going to be going out with him because we have to be discreet but I haven't gotten any where with the 2 single guys I have met either. One is a guy I've known for half a year, we went out a few times but he is so busy with his church work, his young children (he is mid 50's with 2 young sons), work, and all his other stuff that he seldom calls or sees me. We are just strictly friends as he has devoted his life to God and is not interested in dating again. This is ok to me as there is really no chemistry but still I like talking to him and it would be nice to go out occasionally with a man who acts like a gentlemen.
The third guy I have been out with a few times and it's obvious he is after sex. Every email mentions kissing and touching. I told him I am not interested in rushing into sex. He says he agrees with me but still talks the same.

I've been suspecting him chatting with women since when we first got married. We've been married for little over 5 years now. I just did let it go and pretend I didn't notice. Now I am fed up and can't take it anymore. He is 29 years older than me. What should I do? Should I leave him for good? I know there are many people out there who cares about me. Please help!

My sister is in college, and came up to visit my husband, son and I. Yesterday she asked for us to go a restaurant 45 minutes away so she could see an old friend from college. We did, so they hugged, talked and blah blah blah. Good times for them.

Today we had a baby shower to attend and had asked her to babysit for 2 hours. She told her friend to drive over while we were gone so they could catch up.

We told her no and that we didn't feel comfortable having someone we don't know in our house without us being there while our son is napping. We suggested inviting this friend over for dinner and swimming, but my sister turned that down.

Now my sister has whined to our mother saying I'm too strict and my mother is whining to me to tell me to lighten up and apologize for my "rude" behavior.

I want opinions--we were in the wrong by denying her request?

Do u think a girl or any girl for that matter would regret not taking a guy bac later in life if there was absolutely nothing wrong with the guy or the relationship it was almost perfect and the reason she left him was because she moved far away and wanted to pursue goals of her own? or is pretty much all hope lost cuz my take is maybe she needs mature a little bit

on my blog I posted 9 tips that someone sent me from one of my groups ... I thought they were good and practical. But it made me really think. I live in such a rural area, that it isn't something I worry about too much. But, I know we have at least 2 child molesters in our area ... and I thought maybe I should think it about it a little more. Wow, it's amazing all the woes you hear from people about what is wrong with thier marriage. It's almost like the same story but different folk. I'm surprised that someone hasn't been able to find the key to a successful marriage, bottle it and sell it. It's a pity no one has.

Who has some tips on what it takes to make it ALL THE WAY????

I'm assuming there are enough people out there who can answer this....LOL

I'm going on 18 years myself and all I can really come up with is honesty, loyalty, tolerance and forgiveness...space to breathe, good friends and lots of laughter. Finances are often the biggest romance buster out there too...so how do you keep it from getting the best of you?

Anyone have any advice?

I've known this guy for a good three years. We had classes together. We now live 1 1/2 away and he calls me at least twice a week and comes to see me every other week. He pays a lot. He drops settle hints. I was joking around the other day about saving money and i said eh you should get it if you want it, who's going to spend your money when youre gone. He replied "you". My last bday he planned my bday party and even got me a present. Is he interested in me or does he want to be just friends? Someone help!!....

She was given the house and contents to offset this which she has since sold, bought another house and sold it to live in rented housing. Maintenance is currently paid for 1 child and herself and she claims poverty!.

Before my children and I moved to a different state, my ex husband was constantly harassing me by calling the cops and Children's services, falsely claiming I was not taking care of my children. The judges never found against me on those grounds.

When the kids and I moved away from that state, the harassment stopped, but now that he has moved near us (no more than three blocks away), the harassment has started again.

He's called the cops on us at least twice in one week, claiming to be fearful for the children's welfare. He tried saying that I was starving the kids, locking them in their rooms, all sorts of ridiculous claims that are unsubstantiated. Yeah, my house has been a bit on the messy side, but I've been working full-time while trying to get over a bad sinus cold and bronchitis. So given that, I haven't been in much of a cleaning mood. But now the house is getting back to it's normal lived-in yet livable clean.

Now he's taking me to court.
