His wife hates that we are friends and hates me. She seems to think we are having an affair or something. She has only met me a few times and has been really rude to me when I tried to talk to her. When we do hang out, it is at bars and there is always a group of us. I was at a party of mutual friends of ours and she flipped out that I was even there, even though I said little more than hello to him. She has now demanded that he "cease and desist" all contact with me or she will leave him. He refused, and she said she was divorcing him. I feel terrible, I didn't mean to cause him any trouble, but I really don't know what I have done wrong. We have never dated in the past or fooled around. I really don't know where all of this is coming from. On the otherhand, my husband is fine with it and doesn't care if I go out without him. Do you think that married people can still have friends of the opposite sex? What should I do in this situation? I hate to lose a good friend.

a relationship in distance is a hard challenge, although we don't like to hear it.Many people try to keep this kind of relationship with cuoriosity if they are making the right choice and if there is any chance to be as much as succesfull like other kind of relationship. Is it true that a relationship in distance has as many chances to be succesfull like any other relationship?

my wife and i have been married for 4 years now, we're both in our early 20's and have a young daughter together. she was/is very self conscious especially about the size of her breasts. she thinks i just say they're fine to not make her feel better, and of course that is part of my reason for saying so but they are fine in my eyes.

she seems to think that i don't love her or atleast not as much as i used to but i'm just not the kind of guy who will just come up to a girl and say "i love you" out of the blue, i do love her i tell her that but she's usually crying and her cheeks get all flushed so i try to comfort her and hold her but it seems to make it worse.

there was one occasion where i hit her on her cheek was really she's never gotten over it, i was and am really sorry for it and i try to do nice things for her like back rubs and foot massages. i understand that hitting her is wrong and that's she's my wife and it was an accident.

i love her and want her to trust me.

We're a young couple, he's 24 and I'm 23. I'm living with my mother with my 11 mons daughter in North CA because my husband only needs his family especially his mom. Our life at his house(South CA) was depressed and misery. I moved back to North for my education degree because there's no way that we can survive when we're both work for a little money. He wants to stay with his family forever and he spends all the money for his family the hard thing is his family is gre edy over his money. They always tell me that they want him to save money for my daughter but always ask for his money. When I'm back to North his mom told him to stop calling me and he did, he ended our relationship, "we can't be together anymore, my family hate you for bringing their grandaughter away." I was out of words but cried, why in this world he done this to us?I'm pregnant again and he doesn't care.He never understand the world responsibility.Seriously, lots of things happened that I can't handle the life there

i have been married for almost a year and we have a 17mo. we have the typical mom stays @ home and father works, which is fine. he is a wonderful husband and father and i appreciates what he does and how hard he works. it's just whenever i ask him to do something to help around the house or with our son, it's almost like he keeps a tally on who has done what to try to get out of doing work. if he changes one poopy diaper and i ask him to do it again later that day it's "but i did it earlier.." or if i ask him to help me clean something around the house he will skirt around the issue or do something easy and non important to avoid doing what really has to be done. if i bring it up he get's so defensive and it turns into an argument. when it comes to matters of the home he doesn't have to do much because if i don't do it it won't get done! he get's time to decompress, but i don't. im constantly working. if he had to do what i did he would be tired! i wish he was more considerate.

I was reading about Bush's new military adviser Lt. General Douglas Lute saying, "The Draft is worth considering". http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/081107Y.shtml

As for me, I came of age in 1980 when Carter reinstated the Selective Service System, and, in all honesty, it scared the pants off me, then. So, I greeted this news with mixed feelings, like maybe I'd like to see them try it, just to give the younger generation the same run for their money...
How about you? How would you feel if Bush reinstated the Draft?

I have been through a lot of emotional problems lately. I'm going to be a freshman in college later this month, have been debating over my choice of majors, dealing with family issues and feeling really lonely because I'm in Texas and all my friends are in California. I've been keeping in touch with them online but it's still not enough.

I feel that I need a boyfriend, because I feel that I need some kind of emotional support that my parents won't give me. I need someone to be there for me, hold me when I'm troubled and to talk to about my interests. But is this really a reason for "needing" a boyfriend, or could this be taken care of with friends?

I hear so much that you don't need to be in a relationship because they're nothing but trouble. What do you guys think?

I am a foyrtene year old guy, very old fashioned, and very mature beyond my years. I'm into the classic singers like Judy Garland. Liza Minnelli. Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, etc. Well my parents, they're well into they're thirties and they are EXTREMLY modern, well at least more modern than me!

I mean they dress modern, act modern, etc. And so I but heads with my parents some times due to that particular fact. But anyways, I collect tons of DVDs CD's, and stuff like that of the singer mentioned above. And I love watching and listening to them, but I just feel lonely watching them by myself, nobodies watches or listens to it with me.

Although, my grandmother, again another modern, she's actually pretty young too, she's only in her mid fifties. She's not as modern as my parents, but a little but ahead of years. But me and my grandmother share the same exact type of music likings. I mean she likes Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, , those same classic entertainers as me.

My boyfriend just proposed to me Thursday night. I know that he is short of cash at the moment so I don't have a ring but he promised me that he will get me one soon.

I hate the idea of having to wear a engagement/wedding ring.
Is it absolutely necessary?

As long as I can remember my Dad has been an alcoholic. He had stopped drinking for a few years, but he began drinking again about 2 years ago.
Anyway, ever since I was little he would say mean things to me like, "I used to love you when you were a baby, but not anymore". That was when I was about 11 years old.
Recently he, my brother and I went to New York. He got so drunk they almost didn't let him fly home, but the plane was delayed so they ended up letting him go. Then he started yelling at me on the practically silent airplane in front of a bunch of strangers calling me names and swearing at me because I had to call my Mom and let her know that they weren't going to let him fly home. He called and apologized the next day, but I can't get these incidents out of my head.
There is plenty more, but I think you get the idea. I'm 24 now and on my own with my own family. My dad and I were never close and only have polite conversation when we do talk.
Should I let these things go?

he wanted a more serious relationship. Since I really, really like him I told him I would love for our relationship to be more serious. Don't know what happened, but since our talk, he's tried avoiding me whenever I call him. I've called 2 x's in the last week. He talks to me for about five minutes and tells me he will call me later and never does. This has been going on for a week. Do you think that maybe he's had a change of heart? I'm so sad. But I don't want to keep calling him if he's going to keep blowing me off. What to do, just wait or what?

She doesn't want me to come with her ever or meet the people that she goes to hang out with. We've been married for nearly six years and this seems very odd. She claims that it is because she wants her own place to hang out where she isn't just a half of a couple and I am only a name. What does everyone out there thinks and what should I do? When I tell her I am concerned she just gets upset with me.
