with a 2 year old. I think it is inappropriate and he will be bored and not understand why he has to act a certain way. Anyone else been through this senario? I know my in-laws are going to think we should be there. There will already be lots of little ones there. The bride has 3 kids, ages 2, 3 and 4. My other SIL has 2 kids, an infant and a 3 yo. My BIL has 2 step kids, ages 10 and 14. I just don't want to do it. Any suggestions?

I'm in college and will be living with my friend and her boyfriend; they'll be sharing the master bedroom and I'll have my own room. They want to split the rent 50/50 and utilities in thirds; I think it's more fair to split both into thirds. We're all students without any extra money.

In any case, the original agreement was just the girl and I living together. I don't know the guy very well, he's a nice guy, but I kind of felt like I was making a concession agreeing to a third-wheel situation. I honestly don't think they're trying to scam me on the rent, but it seems to me they got the better end of the deal.

I am getting married next year for the second time. My question is, I have 3 dads. (my father, my ex-step dad, and my step-dad now) They all mean so much to me, as they were each there for me. My real father walked me down the isle the first time. And I want him to do it again, but I also want to include the rest of them. How should I do this? Would it be ok, for all of them to walk me down the isle some how?

I really need help, I felt so bad leaving them out last time and don't want to do it again.

I'm 15, and since I can remember the relationship of my mom and her mom is extremely ice. My mom has a strong resentment of her mom. We have a close relationship and last week mom finally told me what happened. When she was 14 she made mistakes, things I know many teens do. Her mom was kinda harsh, though she sincerely apologized and promised she wouldn't repeat thos e mistakes. She told mom she had broken her trust and this devasted mom, that loved my grandma. Mom said for months she did her best to get her mom trust back, but she was forgiven. She got depressed but got over and when she got her mom trust back their relationship was destroyed. I understand mom, my grandma was really cruel and mom asked me "Imagine if I did that to you?/" I've made mistakes but nothing that damaged our relationship, but I think I'd get devastated too. Anyway, I like my grandma, for more than 20 years she's been suffering w/ this, I guess she regrets what she did . Is there anyrthing I can do?

Or, because you are an important suit, and
you are embarrased that it looks bad for your great status?
Would you like to just sweep it under the rug and call it a day?

I've fancied this woman for 2 years, and we have been best mates since we met, however since i've known her she has had a bf. When we were talking to each other we both said we liked each other, but were to shy to ask each other out. About a year ago i moved 200miles away and while i've been away she asks how i am, and if need of anything would do anything for me, even said she would drive 200miles 2 bring me back 2 c mates. I saw her for 1st time in 12 months last weekend and she was so happy, her bf went away and she's not happy wiv him. While he was away we went to cinema, nightclubbin and i met her parents and went to her house on three seperate occasions, she keeps holdin my hand, wantin me to hold her, confides in me, says she wants 2 dump her bf but can't cos she loves him. Then on saturday says she fancies me still but wouldn't cheat on her bf,, she smiles all time when i'm around and complements me, she always says she love me and misses me, should i make a move.

Me and my boyfriend have been going out for 5 months now. We have never had a fight, and or personalities just seem to mesh real well. I think he is "the one". But since we haven't fought or anything yet, do you think this is too good to be true? and do you think it will all fall apart later in our relationship?

I was asked to be a bridesmaid in my friends wedding, but in the past two months I have gone through HELL and back with her and her sister (her maid of honor).... she's a true bridezilla. (her family is super rich, she's never had a real job, doesn't understand the concept of hard-earned money and a full time job.)....... lately I've been accused of being a selfish ***** because I told the sister I am broke from tons of things in my life after she asked me to help buy MORE gifts for her bachelorette party. (I have had a budget set out for awhile for this, so this is ANOTHER thing they dumped in my lap at the last second)....... so I'm currently not even speaking to EITHER of them and I'm just plain fed up. I don't even want to be this girls friend anymore (this is not the first time we've had a fight like this.... I always try to get them to see from a perspective other then their own and then I end up being called selfish for it.)..... I'm sick of dealing with people that will

ok, so I'm seeing this really great guy for over 3 months now.. What I loved about him was that he had a life. What I mean is that I see him once a week, usually on Saturdays and he'd go out w/his friends on Thurs or Fridays. Lately, though, he's not going out w/his friends anymore. If it's not w/me he'll just stay home. I love going out w/my friends and I don't want to start expecting this from me, plus I don't want him to become too dependent on me. Am I crazy? isn't this what every woman wants???

yahoo. if anyone wants background on the situation look @my previous questions. i left my ex 3 weeks ago. i was never married. i finally figured out that i was being taken advantage of by her, the kids, & mom, etc. i came back home & i'm working 2 jobs & rediscovering myself. it will take time for me to get over her. i'm going out again, hanging out w/ friends, & joining clubs & experiencing what a life is w/out the girl & her kids just me. its great!!! no more stress & life is great. i get to do what i want when i want. just yesterday the ex called (haven't heard from her in 3 weeks when i left). she said she's sorry about what happened. she wants to start talking to me again & to get to know me again. she said the kids miss me (they aren't my kids & i never had kids). i told her things are over and that is the truth. i want to be alone for now. she says she wants me to think bout it. i'm nt dating anyone that has kids. just want to know why did she call & what does she want now?

She is taking anti depressants and she says she doesn't love me. I asked if it could be the antidepressants that numbed her feelings for me and she says she doesn't think so. I've just being subscribed Prozac and i'm starting to feel like my feelings a draining for her. what do you think i should do, do you think i should tell, and say lets be close friend so when our emotions come back we might start again. I'm asking cos if all my feelings go for her i may not think to ask later

I'm getting married in November, the problem I'm having is that it's my second marriage. It's formal, but I see no point in having my father give me away AGAIN, and neither does he. But, I don't want to walk down the aisle by myself, all eyes are going to be on me regardless, but I'd like to have someone to lean on in the process. Would it be ok if the groom escorted me himself? Or should I find a male friend or relative to do it?

I'm a young professional. I have a mortgage payment and child suppoort. I make enough money to just cover my monthly expenses.
She has just entered her field in a part-time position. She also has another part-time job that she works maybe once a week.
Now, when we first started dating we were both in better situations financially. After a week of dating, she lost her job. She found herself struggling. All she had was a part-time job that wasn't paying enough. I saw the struggle so I chipped in a little... buy gas, groceries on occassion. Months started to roll by and I didn't see her situation getting any better. I still stood by her side and supported her. I encouraged her to follow up on the job she currently has in her field. During this time, my finacial situation got worse. So, she recently got upset with me when I was unable to give her money. We've had this discussion and she thinks that I'm so wrong for not wanting to give her the money anymore.

hi...i'm a 22 yr old woman. when i was 16 i was sexually abused by a teacher of mine. i could never muster up the courage to tell anyone about it. it went beyond molestation but still i never confided in anyone. but then i got bolder and threatened him that i'd approach the police and that seemed to make him back off. now i'm a university student and his son is a year senior to me there. i always knew he was my teacher's son and always tried to maintain a distance. but he's a charming guy and a heartthrob and i found out that he's nowhere near his father. we have been dating for 2 years now. i always knew i'd be in for awkward times with his father if we pursue our relationship seriously. but i never seemed to care. i haven't told my bf about what his dad did to me. nowadays i worry too much about how it's all gonna shape up. what will happen if my bf gets to know. i would love to confide in him but how would he react? i'm really muddled up.......
