If you are going to do drugs...
Don't let drugs do you!!!!!!!
What would upset me the most is to have to spend the money to bail him out.

I would be upset because I see the desolation that drug and alcohol abuse causes in the lives of all people who get caught up in the vicious cycle.
No I would not ignore it I think that would be the worst thing to do. It needs to be addressed in a non confrontational way and talked about. Status means nothing if you are unhappy and have nothing to live for because you life is so screwed up with substance abuse.

I think that no matter who you are drugs are a negative force and can do nothing good. Where can you get a job while your on drugs? Who would trust you to do an important task knowing you use drugs? There is nothing to gain from it and it does nothing beneficial in your life. Don't make up reasons why your doing it be honest and think about what it does to your health, what it does to your mind, and what you really want out of life.

I don't have a suit so that rules out number 2. I have been here with my oldest and his experimentation days and he barely lived to tell about it because I cared so much that I made his life a living hell until it stopped and he recognized the error of his ways.
It was tough times for all of us (all family members) but it was well worth the time and effort to get him clean.
Yes, I cared. All parents should.

I do not have children, but if I did my appearance would never outway the welfare of my chidren. I would much rather help my children get better than worry about what anyone else thinks of me.
In fact, it does not have any true direct effect on the parents if their children do drugs. Some people want to believe that it looks bad for them, but it simply is not true.
Take care,
Troy

Look even if you a Suit if anyone says anything its none of their business. Look I told my son when I caught him with pot,(cause I don't care if he does it, Just do it over the summer or on the weekends) School matters the most, and if your grades start slippin you won't leave your room until your grades are back up. I smoked pot in highschool and my grades started slippin and they never recovered.

that would depend on if he was willing to share or not. :)
No, is there a parent who would be more concerned about what other people think or their failure as a parent for not teaching the child right from wrong.
