I have been with my boyfriend for 18 years and we have one daughter; 16 years old. He wanted to get married and I didn't because he is very jealous and would feel as if he owned me. I have been through hell and back several times with him; cheating, partying, drinking, and never home. I forgave him every time. And now the last two years he has been good. The problem is I'm no longer 'in love' with him. I haven't been for the last three years. I think I have been staying for our daughter. I have never cheated on him. I work nights and I'm always being accused of cheating on him. I'm worn down. I don't want to hurt anyone. Every time I get up the nerve he makes me feel bad and guilty; because of my daughter. I need personal advice, not professional.

ok so I have this boy who happens to be my ex-boyfriend and my first everything. When we broke up we stopped talking, in this time I had a new boyfriend for about a year, and everytime he saw me with my boyfriend he used to stare and kinda look sad! When me and my boyfriend broke up I messaged him again, he saw each other alot, and eventually ended up sleeping together, in conversation one day it came up that my old boyfriend lived with me, and he backed away from me since that point, I then had a boy hanging off me, we were together all the time, which made him back off more, I ended up writing him a message and saying that where just friends and other stuff, he didnt write back for about 1 month, then he messaged me his new number, and we have been talking for about 2 months now really good, and its his birhtday soon so i asked if he wanted to go to the zoo then stay in a hotel which he agreed to,

My friends got married with no license. They had a "ceremony" in the house by a "real" preacher who says he has the authority to marry "under God". Are they really married? Our state no longer recognizes common law.

They say they didn't want a license because they will get more retirement money this way. They are active in our local church and professing Christians.

Hey there vastness; Ok, my question. I work in a very professional office and company. I have recently started a sexual relationship with a coworker that I am certain is not leading to a relationship. My goal, as a woman, is to continue this relationship without the man becoming attached. In my experience, men have become attached more regularly than I have with them. I am very committed to my profession and do not want to let these types of relationships affect my job, however, in this circumstance, I have seen very mixed signals, sometimes it seems we are on the same page, and other times he seems unnaturally attached, I do not regularly have a 'booty call' type person, but at this time in my life, it is most advantageous, so my question is, what are the signs that I should be looking for to know that it is going beyond just a sexual realtionship for him? He occassionally sleeps over, I have never been to his house, we are work friends, but no one knows about our relationship....???

I always hear females talkin bout I hope he talks to me, or " he is sooooo!!!! cute!" But they always wait on the man to talk to them. As a woman, why won't you approach a man? And don't give me that the man is supose to ask the woman stuff ethier.

something is telling me not to post this question,
because i will most likely get the all too common
"your too young to worry about it" speech.
so if for any reason your thinking of giving it. please dont. lol.
Alright well i hve known this one boy (brian) for over 10 years. We really had something great, since we were young even. it was kinda like we "fell in love" at first sight. Well, his brothers (adam) is kind of a @as. lol. and lied to brian, told him alot of things i "supposedly said" that were not true. And now brian wont even talk to me, or write back. I've stopped trying. but i dont just want to lose him, even if it means just being friends. what should i do?? Thanks in advance to everyone who helps =]]

I am 42, in good physical condition, take good care of her and the children financially. She does not speak badly to me or treat me badly, other than I am only spoken to when there is a money need. P.S., she will not allow me to touch her in any way for 7 or 8 years....she just pulls away even in bed???? I just need her to recognize my existence I am near exasperated and ready to search for someone, anyone....not so much for physical activity but just to say "hi, how was your day" But I cannot leave my children, they need daddy.

I tend to see good-looking girls date guys with no looks and NO PERSONALITY, INTELLIGENCE, etc.

They're generally jerks, too. I guess what I'm saying is that guys, all types, ALWAYS have options, whereas girls are judged primarily on their looks (again, primarily, not absolutely). I just mean, I've rarely-to-never seen a really good-looking guy with an average girl (who's qualities are rooted in her personality, not just looks).

Is there a scientific reason behind the FACT (don't argue here, you know it's true) that guys are more visual, often thus more commonly labeled "superficial," than girls WHEN *INITIALLY* deciding which girl to approach and get better acquainted with.

If your parents say you're grounded to the house, and your 18, legally they can't force you to stay in their house. Am I correct?

We just gained custody of my husband child this year. This is the first year that she has had to go visit with her mother. The judge ordered a permanent injuction preventing her from taking off with her and coming between communication.

She had to go with her mother for vacation this year and we had gotten a cellphone for her. Her Mother took it and we have no way of reaching her for 2 weeks so far. We have tried calling directly to the house but they have caller ID and I always seem to get voicemail. His daughter called from the grandmothers today while her mom wasnt there asking if we had been trying to call because she hasnt heard anything from us in awhile and to tell us her mom took her phone.

I am not sure what we can do but any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

We have gone from newlyweds to fighting often in 9 months. Despite the fact that I have not changed, he has started drinking heavily, turned meaner, acts moody, and says awful things to me often.
Tonite he was warm and happy to see me. Said I was so sexy. I said....after an hour of charming me...if I am so sexy why do you say mean things to me like I am old and fat two days ago. He says shut up and then says ....so maybe you are never sexy and walks away. He doesn't explain himself, acts unpredictable, and basically vacillates between loving me and later saying he hates that he married me....what the hell is wrong. WHY....what is the deal? Does he want to split and doesn't have the guts? Please let me know your thoughts and experiences.
