My 60+ year old cousin, against all advice, brought a 20 year old mail order bride back from Phillipines. Married 7 yrs (+-) They have a 5yo. boy. He helped her become citizen. She now wants divorce (duh!). His heart is broken. Divorce atty? Sure. But is there anything else he can do? INS fraud, etc?

Nope it will be the typical divorce.. he was a grown man and made this decision and took his chances of this happening, so no one forced him to do anything, so if he was stupid enough for this to happen to him, then theres nothing the law would do here.... he knew the chances of this when he married her.. she's broken no law, so theres nothing the law can do to her..

he got married and just like other people he is getting divorced.
this happens to lots and lots of people. but it looks like cousin is a bit ticked off and now wants to make her life miserable.
bite the bullet and move on!!!
she is going to have a hard enough time being a single parent. and I'll bet cousin won't be willing to foot money for child support willingly!!!
ya play ya pay. grow up and move on!!!

Sorry, no return policy after 7 years. She has stuck with him long enough and qualifies for citizenship. No fraud here.

Well, since they've been together so long, it seems that fraud would be a tough one to prove, but I'm really not an expert at that kind of thing.

what fraud, she married him, she had a kid with him, she took care of him, now she wants to get rid of him, sounds like a legitimate marriage to me
seems like the guy was a dummy, don't ever say that older people are wiser

can he prove that it would be INS fraud??? if he can then maybe....need to check with a lawyer..but sinces she's an American Citizen not much unless they revoke her citizenship...

Nope, they were married for 7years. That doesn't prove fraud, on her part, it might prove stupidity on his though.
