I think I take care of all my resonsibilities. I provide for the family and I do my share of household stuff. I couldn't be a better father. Yet I feel my wife is not satisfied with me. I'm a total romantic, but that is not what she is lacking.

In other words, she denies me the sexual satisfaction (not to mention herself) that she knows I need. I'm GTG every day, but if it were up to her, she'd be satisfied with only once a month. So, after 20 years (can you beleive that?) I remain unhappy. I love her, yet resent being neglected. I'm tempted to cheat for personal satisfaction, but cannot cross the line. Nor can I desert her or the children. This sounds pathetic, but maybe someone has an idea for me. I suspect I'm not the only one.

My folks and I share the same beliefs and we are pretty close and every time one of my relationships in the past has gone south I would get (not always in words) I told you so. Every time my mom goes shopping for me she buys exactly what I would have bought. Every time she recommends something to me she is always right. We agree on everything but my choice of men. So, I was thinking.....hmmm.....maybe there is something to that. Maybe I should let my mom hook me up with someone she thinks would be good for me. I trust her judgment in everything else and I definitely don't trust my own judgment now with men so is it worth a shot? If it goes bad at least I don't have to hear I told you so. I am a 30 year old Christian woman in search of a like aged Christian man. My mom is also Christian and knows what I am looking for. What do you think? Should I? Shouldn't I? Why or why not?

I am trying to start up a business as a personal "maid" to a bride on the day of her wedding. I know how much my friends have been stressed by their family and my role would be to step in and run interference. The business would focus on the bride. I would fetch her drinks, get food, block relatives, help her get ready, provide manicures/pedicures/massages and wait on her throughout the day. Everything would be tended to so that she could enjoy the day.

My 13th is less than 2 months away... and so is the 3rd anniversary of my father's 2 strokes. All my memories of the hospital i got to know so well, my family being sad, my father lying unconscious on the hospital bed on my 10th birthday... are all coming back to haunt me. My friends seem to be ignoring me and it's just making my life difficult. I have suffered from depression before and i just keep getting sad for no reason. I don't know what to do. Please help me.

I recently went on a 2 week trip overseas with a friend and she was just shitty towards me most of the time. She put down practiclly everything that came out of my mouth and made out like everything I did and said was just wrong or plain stupid. Whenever someone spoke to me, she would get really annoyed with me and if I had a conversation with anybody, she would go over what I'd said afterwards and just made out like I'd said the wrong thing to them, as if I'd embarrassed her or something. By the second week she was sing anything she could think of that she knew would really annoy me, tryin to pick a fight with me but I just pretended not to notice the whole time. he is really painflly sensative and shy and just insecure, but that's no excuse to treat me like ****. What the hell can I do about it? Any advice would be much apreciated.

I am ready to start dating now that my divorce is in the past. I waited until I thought my kids would be able to handle it. They are 13/b and 11/g. The divorce was devasting to them and took a while before they seemed to accept it. Any ideas on how and where to get stated. This may seem like an easy thing to do, but I have to remember that any man I get involved with will be around my kids as well...(eventually) Thanks:)

My boyfriend and I have been together for three years nd a month today. We've broken up before and we've dated others just t see if we wanted anyone else because staying with one person holds on to you..We used to be soo innocent, ya' know and we did everything together. But once I moved for a while. alot of things changed. I mean, one night we'd be all lovey together and then the next it's like we can't stand each other. I think we're falling apart like theres no more love and if we do, it's only sex or we're sad..or something. I'm still so in love with him though..but shoud I break up with him?

The way I was raised, you politely call first, and check to see if it's a good time to stop by. Almost everyone has a cell phone nowadays so it should be very easy for people to call first. I think it shows respect and caring. My in-laws keep DROPPING by. I have made my views known and asked them to call first, but they keep doing it. I love privacy! I love quiet evenings at home. I don't like to stay "dressed" all day. I also have health issues and if I have been in pain...sometimes the house doesn't look too great and it embarasses me. I would just like to have the option to say whether it's a good time or not. It's so easy when they all have cell phones. now it seems like they are doing it now to bother me, or "show" me that they don't have to.

So I have been seeing this girl for about 2 months. She has stated that she likes me, but doesn't want to be tied down.
Tonight she calls me and says that she is really starting to have feelings for me, but thinks it might just be because we talk on the phone so much. She is in D.C. on an internship until August, I am in Indiana.
I said that is fine, we can limit the phone calls. Then she said that she doesn't want me planning anything for when she gets back. She wants to see me, just doesn't want me saying I am looking forward to seeing her. I was fine with that too.
Then she said, that she just doesn't know what kind of future she sees with me.
So at this point, I am angry. And I tell her, well I have been dating around. I am just not ready to settle down right now. Its not fair for me or whoever I end up with.
We get off the phone. She texts me and says that she would have rather have not known I was dating around?
Why is she mad about that? What should I do to fix it?

We are friends, but recently, feelings we have both had for each other came to surface in conversation. We spoke in depth about it last night. He is in another state right now. So nothing is going on, but I did tell him how I felt. (After he told me first a few weeks back.) Tonight, we talked. He had a date with someone he met about two weeks ago on a blind date that he told me he really wasn't crazy about at the time, but was a total jerk to me on the phone while getting ready for his date. Teased me about my age...I am older than he is...but not in a funny way. In a mean way. Which isn't like him. He was incredibly goofy on the phone, like everything was a big joke. Told me he was TRYING to annoy me, because it was fun. Ended the conversation telling me he is planning to have a 'really superb evening' with his date. Not sure why he would be so callous all of a sudden. It was like talking to two different people between last nights conversation and tonight. Pls explain.

This is something that has been on my mind ever since this happened. I'd like a man's opinion on this if possible.

Last year, my spouse left our house late at night in a very angry mood. He stayed out all night, arrived back late the next morning, and told me not to answer the phone under any circumstances. It rang several times, and he was very demanding about not answering it. He also said we'd be short on money.
Later, he shouted at me that he had spent $400 on strippers, described them in detail, and said that he had "almost had sex" with one of them, but didn't, so I "should be happy about that" (I wasn't). I asked him about the phone, and he stammered before making a comment about making a new friend at the strip club. He didn't sound very sure of himself.

I just need to know what this sounds like to others. I believe he lied to me about not having sex.

We're currently separated for other reasons involving domestic abuse. I left soon after this event.

How can you tell the difference between if someone is being rude (e.g. a boyfriend) and just selfish when they don't do considerate things like if they make dinner or a meal/snack and ask if you'd like some and make some for the both of you.... or make time to be together after work instead of getting on computer/going to gym/saying "I'm tired" and watching tv or sleeping.

VERUS

Someone who is really tired & things are really okay but they just show you once per week maybe that they care about you by doing something kind of nice.

They talk a lot with other people like if he says he is tired someone can call & he perks up.

Lots of times says we/he can & will do something but then doesn't -- like "we'll have sex tomorrow" or "we can go see the property we are buying tomorrow" (offer has already been submitted & he talks about the property a lot; I would like to see it once every 2 weeks to watch the progress)..... Or "I'll rub your shoulders after this show"
Doesn't happen.
