We are friends, but recently, feelings we have both had for each other came to surface in conversation. We spoke in depth about it last night. He is in another state right now. So nothing is going on, but I did tell him how I felt. (After he told me first a few weeks back.) Tonight, we talked. He had a date with someone he met about two weeks ago on a blind date that he told me he really wasn't crazy about at the time, but was a total jerk to me on the phone while getting ready for his date. Teased me about my age...I am older than he is...but not in a funny way. In a mean way. Which isn't like him. He was incredibly goofy on the phone, like everything was a big joke. Told me he was TRYING to annoy me, because it was fun. Ended the conversation telling me he is planning to have a 'really superb evening' with his date. Not sure why he would be so callous all of a sudden. It was like talking to two different people between last nights conversation and tonight. Pls explain.

He is just trying to make you jealous. He's trying to see if he can get a reaction from you. It's a very immature thing that only controlling and emotionally insecure guys do. Trust me, I've been there.

He may just be trying to make you jealous. I would wait until he calls me again, and have a long talk with him. Tell him that you did not appreciate the comments he made about your age, nor the way he acted towards you when he had his date. Tell him that you are not a toy that he can just play with. Either he has feelings for you are he does not. If he continues to treat you like that, I suggest that you avoid his calls until he starts treatin you with respect. He owes you an apology.

well to me as my opinion..if it were me i would think that he thought the date would go great..and sorta trying to make you feel like if he wants to date beautiful women that he dont have a problem finding them at every turn..that you should feel lucky he even considers you..that is how i read it..but it looks like the date did not go well and im thinking for him to be acting this way now i think at the end of the night he was rejected and probably got but hurt about it...or maybe he is just a conflicted person right now being that you and him are far apart..who knows what is going on in his mind...

It sounds like he is just trying to make you jealous. I don't understand why he is going on a date if you both admitted your feelings for each other. Maybe you should ignore him for a few days and then try and have another serious converstaion with him to find out where things stand. Good Luck!

I really can't help u here because the same thing happened to me, but it's either because all he wanted was for u to admit the feelings u had for him because it was just a game for him or he's really uncomfortable about the feelings he has for u...hope this helps...

Sounds like he is either trying to make you jealous or he is just not that into you. Either way you don't need that crap, find someone who will treat you with respect.

He was just trying to get you to admit your feelings and then leave you hanging. I would move on. You don't deserve a guy like that. You deserve better.
