I wouldn't normally advise it. It can be very tricky and most companies have policies against that. However - I dated a guy I worked with (he was the assistant manager) and I ended up marrying him. Most of our shifts overlapped, so we didn't spend the whole day at work together and, for the most part, only saw each other on our days off. Still, it wasn't always easy keeping our personal relationship and our work relationship separate.

My wife and I worked together and dated while we worked together. We worked in different areas, but still saw each other. I quit the job 2 years later and got a better job. Here are some pros's and con's.
Pros's
1. sneaking kisses at work... its like a free high
2. you probably have talked to them and have a background so they are not a psycho
3. car pooling
4. can set schedules so you have more free time for each other.
con's
1. Talking bout work "ALL the time"
2. Felling like you see each other to much
Good luck
Remember if it doesn't work out you can tell everyone you work with he was bad in bed or had a small unit. LOL J/K

In my opinion, if you truly like this person and they feel the same way, there really isn't any way you could get sick of seeing them. The only way I can think of that it would be weird is if it didn't work out and you broke up.
So, if I really did like this person and they really liked me, I would go ahead and do it.

i dont recommentd this type of relationship because generally there a rule against it especially if you re working in a company and that could get you fired.
sorry
and yes you might get sick of the person being in front of you all day long.

Well considering that is how my boyfriend and i met it is really cool. it is weird at first bc we didn't want our boss to find out and slowly everyone knw including the boss but he didnt' mind bc we showd no affection while at work. And now we have been together for 11 months and still going strong. Its perfectly normal i mean you cnat help if u fall in love. things happen. Good luck and god bless

don't do it...unless you're prepared to deal with the consequences if it doesn't work out! Many companies discourage coworkers dating just for that reason! IT's not a stupid policy!

If you want to date him, then get another job! I've done it and it made life much easier for me to get employment elsewhere.
We were more focused on each other than our jobs so we caught some flack- which we deserved.

I would probably get sick of it, unless I loved them. Plus I am a boss at my job so it's forbidden.

I don't advise it. If the relationship goes sour, you still have to see each other. Besides, office gossip is a pain in the a**.
