I haven't gotten around to getting my engagement ring insured yet so I am paranoid about losing the stone. It is 2.2 carats set in platinum. It is 4 prongs instead of the 6 prongs and I've heard that the 6 holds better. Is it possible to lose the stone and how common is that? Thanks

Dear All,
we both are from Uttarakhand & working in Gurgaon for past 2 yr n want to marry here. families are as usual against.
dont have a Ration Card or adress proof, how can we register(in gurgaon only) or can get a marriage certificate in short period,
as we dont want to do all in temple or Arya Samaz.
no relative or family member will be involved,

i have an 18 year old friend, and people say she's pretty, good body, everything, and to top it all off she's really nice too. and yet no guys would ever approach her. most of my friends, who are mean, careless, and not so good looking, guys would just approach to them. what is wrong with this? i mean when im with her guys would stare at her, stay close to her, and give her smiles and such, but would never talk to her. what can she do? no matter what she does they wouldn't want to approach her. other than making first move because she thinks its not proper for a woman to do that. no one would ever approach her normally. if they do, it wouldn't be as normal as a simple hello. as for my other friends they would get that. she's so lonely... i dont know what to tell her, cause im not in that situation.. so what should she do?

ok, so that being said. I'll turn to my husband. I told him of the affair shortly after it happened. We broke up spent 6 months apart we both dated different people. He came to me one day at work and asked to go to coffee. I went. We worked things out... kinda fast forward... 2 yrs we had a son... got married in the back yard 3 weeks after he was born.... year later filed bankruptcy..... a year after that had a baby girl..... all the while things were ok with us. Not great just Ok. We were living with my mom... my husband changed careers twice... then decided to change a third time and move us away from home. I almost didn't go that time but i did cause the kids were so young.... his temper started to show shortly before our 2nd child was born... fast forward to now... he has major anger issues.... never physically abuse but the words are horrible. and its mainly to the kids... i've asked repeatedly for him to go to counsilling... hasn't gone.. i'm slow to response due to worried about giving not appropriate responses, sometimes i would be suspious about the intentions of others, other times i got distracted because it was an opposite sex. other times i feel like no matter what i say it would turn out bad?

Ok, so here is the story. My husband and I met 13 years ago. We got off to a rocky start. About a year after we started dating, I got pregnant. We thought the best course of action would be termination. He was leaving for school before it would happen. I thought he would take time out to come back for it but he didn't and I think it kinda effected me. About another year later a male coworker started showing alot of interest in me. To make a long story short we had sex togther 3 times over 8 month. We physically ended it but seeing as we worked together the emotional aspect never ended. This went on for about 9 years. We never once kissed again but there was some hugging and grabbing my waist and other flirty things that went on. But most of all it was the comments. During the past 10 years I have put on considerable weight but he never treated me any differently. I saw him about a year ago and you couldv'e cut the tension with a knife. I will cntinue this in anther post.

I told my boyfriend, we should get married, because we were together for 10 years and we are already in our 30s. But before that we in a living in set up for about 10 years. We lived in our own, for 7 years and 3 years in his parent’s home. He was okay with it at first. Even if we are not certain about how to go about it since we don’t have that much money, we decided in having a simple ceremony. But out of the blue he told me he doesn’t want to get married anymore because he is afraid of responsibility and the future, I think of financial problems. I don't like my bf buying me things at all bc in my life people hold it over ur head if they get u something then ur like a slave to them for what they bought u, he has done it with sex or saying he should get to do what he wants since he got me such and such, well I've been upset too about an abortion i had to get which was his child, and he tells me all the time to just forget it bc it was needed to do bc we couldn't support a child, yes i'm on bc but it didn't work even with condoms. and my family is on the verge of a divorce with my parents that of course i would be upset. well he goes to his mom and tells him i'm upset but doesn't tell her y, and that i don't like him buying me stuff, she says well thats good, make her go dutch and buy her own ticket, and whatever she needs on our date tomorrow. he says he will buy the ticket but its with her debt card. This is the 2nd time his best friend has come to my work. the first time the store was closed so he couldnt really see me except through the window. my bf(now ex since sunday said originally that his best friend came to the store to check me out). well, my now ex (he dumped me on saturday) and i are trying to see if we want to work things out. Long story short, she didn't care that my dad/her husband died. "He died and he's still sticking me for $ over his funeral"-my mom (she never cried).

She owes me about 2k, but will not acknowledge it. She wrecked my car after I let her borrow it for free for 6 months. To borrow hers would cost me $10/day. *I'm still car less*

She calls me fat (I'm 5'6 and weigh 140).

She tries to write me a (bad) check to borrow money.

At age 12 I lived with extended family (they were always on drugs) until I was 17.

She has never said she loves me.
