i have an 18 year old friend, and people say she's pretty, good body, everything, and to top it all off she's really nice too. and yet no guys would ever approach her. most of my friends, who are mean, careless, and not so good looking, guys would just approach to them. what is wrong with this? i mean when im with her guys would stare at her, stay close to her, and give her smiles and such, but would never talk to her. what can she do? no matter what she does they wouldn't want to approach her. other than making first move because she thinks its not proper for a woman to do that. no one would ever approach her normally. if they do, it wouldn't be as normal as a simple hello. as for my other friends they would get that. she's so lonely... i dont know what to tell her, cause im not in that situation.. so what should she do?

I'm assuming you're a girl.
If you have friends who are guys ask one of them to find a male friend of his who is shy and see if you can set up a double date.
The male friend should be attractive and nice but also a bit lonely.
She may be so attractive as to be intimidating. All you and she need to do is find a way to break the ice. You should pick a friend you don't mind dating.

Your friend has to make the first move, there's no other way! If shes everything you portray guys may think that someone like that has to be taken by now. What she needs to do is forget whats proper and whats not. We do live in the 21st century tell her to be a bit more open minded

i know how she feels. i don't get approached either and i would never approach a guy!
all i can think of is intimidation, from the guys part. the easily talk to your other friends because they are less intimidating.
thats just my opinion but i honestly don't know hun. let me know if you get an answer

i think all the guys are probably shy, and they dont have the confidence to try to go for her, cos they might think they arent good enough.
i think the only thing she can do is to make the first move, it's not inappropriate, we're in the 21st century, not the 18th, women always make the first move nowdays

they're intimidated...they think that shes to good for them, and she'll definetly turn them down
