My exboyfriend and I dated for 3 years and then broke up because we disagreed on some issues and his mother didnt like me. We still keep in contact and he says I'm still his best friend. He doesnt know if we will ever get back together, but he says he misses me and loves me. What should I do? Move on?

I am very much enjoying the adult time we have and I like him very much. We've been dating a month and he's discussed meeting his family and I've discussed meeting my children but have not put a timeline on it. He's indicated that his last ex didn't let him met her kids for year. That sounds a little extream, as I don't want to give the impression that I'm not part of a package. My children are my entire world and to not involve them in choices that effect them doesn't seem right to me. I don't want him to be my kid's new daddy, but I don't want to get too involved and fall in love if he doesn't get along with my kids and vice-versa. What is the proper protocol in this situation?

I have two uncles, none blood related, whom I am certain are controlling. They call their wives a different name then their real name. Real name Trisha calls her Doris. Most of the time when she has done something "dumb."

Does anyone know of the psychological term for this?

I have been thinking a lot about that question. My ex-boyfriend and I are best friends (after going through a lot of pain) which would be great if I'm not in love with him. He knows how I feel but does not feel the same way. Because of this I have been going through an emotional rollercoster. I'm seeing now that I can't heal with him in my life. As long as we are friends I will hope that his feelings will change for me one day. I know that this isn't realistic. I want to be able to move on, but my love for him is not going away. I have been thinking about ending our friendship until I'm over him and can see him as just a friend. But that may not happen.
We have been through so much together and that has made my feelings grow and his stagnant. A part of me feels the need to let him go and another part feels that I should hang in there and be a friend to him.
Any opinions?

I'm a 40 yr old woman and he is 43 yrs old and he lives and takes care of his mom (his dad died 6 yrs ago). We are making wedding plans to get married next year in June '2008 outside in a gazebo. He does not spend the night with me because we are not married and mommy does not like it, when I'm over their house I can not go into his room for a long period of time because she thinks we are doing the nasty - I have more respect for myself and would never do anything like that. I do not have medical insurance right now, so he suggested getting married thru the County Clerk's office, but when I told him that I would like for him to spend the night with me, he said that he can't because we would not be married thru the church "mommy" would not approve. His 1st marriage was thru the great catholic church and that marriage ended in divorce, my point is that two people make a marriage, not the church. There is so much more, but I'm sure you get the point!!
I need advice and quick.....

this guy i was friends with for a while, well we hadnt talked in months because he's always busy with his other friends and can't invite me along. well today for the first time in months i hear from him. he has an old friend coming to a town a couple hours away and he wanted me to go with him to that town cause he didn't want to go alone. i have been working all week and need some time to catch up on some things at home so i said no, plus i didn't really feel comfortable going. i know he only wanted me to go because his other friends were working. he's now mad at me and got an attitude with me. we're almost college grads anyway and this is like high school drama. am i right to not feel bad about this situatuation? thanks for all your help

Alright there is this girl that was so lovely and pretty . I met her last year in class. Lol it was the first day of class and I saw her and my heart was racing. Love at first site. She sat right behind me I couldn't even pay attention to the teacher. Well so eventually we started chatting. I started asking around about her, and I learned she hung with the druggies. She smokes weed, drinks and has done alot of other things. She is also an athiest. I was stunned, I am about as straitlaced as you can get. I saw her in a different light, but my feelings didn't go away. I remember I was out of school for 2 days and she was the only one who was worried about me and checked up on me. ( outside my family). I eventually transfered out ( for other reasons). And I stopped talking to her, And things got bad because for some reason I didn't accept the request to be her myspace friend, and I think she just thaught that I wanted to get in her pants. I really liked her though, and I ***** it up.

Mother quit spending time with her little girl who isn't even 2 years old yet. She also quit spending any time with her husband. She quit talking to him, which included no kissing or anything either. She would stay gone all the time. When she was home, she just went to bed. The rest of the time she was hanging out with her 'new freinds'. In a three month period she only spent about an hour with the little girl. Needless to say, they are sepa-
rated because of this. He moved out with the little girl. She has made no effort to see her, even though she has his car. He has no vehicle now. He works, but has to depend on friends or family for rides to and from work. The car is in his name only.
Her place is trashed, she has wild parties now. All the neighbors have reported her to management. She has 10 days to move out.

What should he do? Should he push the issue of custody? Should he report the car as stolen to get it back? HELP!!!

Why is it that everyone always blames the cheaters. Should the other party not take some of the responsibility? If the other half was not there emotionally or physically, should they not be held up to the same ridicule? Everyone always says to get out of the relationship before you cheat. However, I think that if you are not invested in the relationship enough to show affection, communicate, and love the other person you should also get out of the relationship - or at the very least seek counselling. Keep in mind I am not condoning either side. I am just wondering why cheating is frowned upon more than anything else in a relationship.

Also, I have been married for ten years and have never even thought about cheating on my husband. I am just curious as to what people think.

What's your opinion about losing virginity before marriage?
For guys: Do you really care about the fact that your bride might not be a virgin.
For girls: Should that be a factor in your relationship?
I thought i was a really interesting question to post...

I love him and he also loves me a lot.

I was on vacation for a month and couldn’t call him while I was away, and when I come back I found out a girl from my work called and text msg my boyfriend a couple times after I was gone, it was obviously she liked him, and I asked my boyfriend; he said they talk at night for about an hour for 3 times during the time I was gone. All the time start with her calling him. My boyfriend said he doesn't like this girl.

Another girl who works with my boyfriend, and they are said to be like bro/sis relationship, she would draw pictures on his arm; when he fell asleep during break time which I get very jealous at. After I come back I feel very insecure, because my boyfriend always tries to make me jealous by saying his ‘sis’ is cute and funny.

Then one day I asked to check his cellphone, he agreed and let me.
I saw he sent 2 msg to his 'sis' asking how she is doing and telling her he got a hair cut that day.

I've been seeing this woman for a few months now and I find her very attractive and polite. She works at a local nightclub as a cocktail waitress. She says she's into Asian men and has had previous dates and boyfriends. It seems I match her type of guy and she also tells me I look so sexy when I smile.

When we see each other, we talk for a short period, sometimes buy her a drink, and we hug whenever I arrive or say goodbye. I stop by every once in awhile just for her. She always says she misses me when I haven't seen her within a week or two.

Recently, she gave me her # and I only spoke to her once on the phone. We talked for a short period because she said she was busy. When she called back, I missed her call and she left a voice message.

Today, I sent a text message to know how her Independence Day turned out and left a voice message on her phone if she received it.

Now that I've sent a text and a voice message, will she be angry if I called or text her again? I'm wondering.

I am now a sophomore and am yet to have my first boyfriend. The guys at my school don't like me because I am designated as "uncool". It seems that only the "cool" girls have boyfriends. However, in order to be "cool", a girl has to be a complete sl*t with no standards. I am pretty sure that I am attractive because whenever I go anywhere guys stare at me. I have had a few guys like me but I turned them down because I have morals and standards. Are there any normal guys out there that do not require you to be a sl*t to go out with them?
