Married for 6 years....4 children involved....2 hers, 2 theirs....Wife feels that that her husband doesn't spend time with her...yet wants space. They don't want to hurt each each other..for all indications...she doesn't want a divorce, she needs space to think about it....he's not living at home.....what should he do.......He is on shore duty...and ultimately he is home everyday......
1. Give her the space?
2. Divorce?
3. What can he do to correct the situation?
4. If he gives her space and time....how much is too much before she feels he doesn't care...

In marraige there are stages you go through the honeymmoon stage where you cant get enough of eacother, The I dont like being married stage, the we have been through a lot stage and also the stage of being true companions and loving one another with out all the high expectations.

My husband and I are at the companion stage and I dont feel all that romantic I love him dearly and would die for him but at this point with all I have been through this year being friends in enough at this point.

My question is have you ever been thorugh these stages of marraige and is it normal for marraige to be common place and ordinary at times? Society emphasizes the romantic part of a realtionship but that does wear off. What is the best way to enjoy the season of marriage that you are in?

I have this friend and he is a guy and every time I talk to him he stares at my chest. I try to put my books in front of them or cross my arms but he keeps staring. OK so me and this guy (we're kind of complicated) basically we've been dating six months and i started liking him years ago so we got really reallllly deep for..oh four months and then we had spring break..he came back and told me his feelings had changed and there was someone else (that someone else now has a different boyfriend) he told me a month later he wanted me back and i took him back because i was a wreck without him...he's my best friend...and so for about two months we've gotten deeper and deeper and..deeper ha but he went on vacation for the past two weeks and now says...his feelings have changed and...yup you guessed it..there's someone else! we are rediculously close and i can't imagine my life without him...he "still cares about me" and wants to still be close friends...i do too...but the pain is killing me and i don't know if i can handle just being his friend...but i also can't imagine my life without him...what should i do?!?!

ok buying a house and talking about "house bills".John informed me he does not want us to have a house phone and if we do he does not to be listed in the phone book he wants a unlisted #.Now he said i could list my name but not his.When i asked him why he gave me plenty of excusses but could not give me a "good" reason.The funny thing is he was listed for 10 yrs with his exwife and could care less(we are getting married and he is STILL listed with her and that bothers me but he could care less about being in there with her)I know for a fact he does not ow anyone money or running from the police so what could it be?

Hello! Can someone please offer some ideas for an inexpensive wedding rehearsal dinner? Some family issues have really put a dent in our wedding budget so we are cutting back here and there. For the rehearsal dinner, what can I do that will be nice yet affordable? Catering is out of the question. The only thing I can come up with is doing vegetable and fruit platters. What do you think? Too cheap? Acceptable?

If you weren't afraid of being accused of spousal abuse and it wasn't a societal no-no, would you want to spank her for certain behavior: cursing, back talk, attitude, disobedience, unsafe actions (speeding, driving under the influence), etc.? Basically, if society didn't tell you "no", can you think of circumstances that you would discipline your wife by spanking (not beating) her?

my sister's hubby recently left her and now she is out every night drinking and acting like an ***. she is dating another guy (after 4weeks of being seperated and has been w/ him for 3 months now) and is always with him. the sucky part comes to play when i tell u that she has 2 children that she now neglects big time. they are great kids and she used to spend 100% of her time with them. now she might have them 2 nights a week. and when she does have them she complains about them and tries to send them to grandma's instead. she is 30 years old and thinks its her right to have fun. she has admited she wants freedom from the kids and says she is at a time in her life where she doesnt want the burden of kids.
the whole family has tried to talk to her and nothing works. she is hurting her babies and they have changed so much! any suggestions on how to get through to her. she just doesnt see what she is doing to them.

...... so bad I know I'm going to get a lot of ridicule. I am already beating myself up. Long story short - me and my husband seperated years ago and after we seperated I started dating this guy for 3 years. Everyday my husband would plead for me to take him back (he was a complusive cheater and liar) and finally after 3 years I decided to try and make it work. Problem is I never completely left my boyfriend alone and I just ended up pregnant a month ago. I wasn't having sex with both just my boyfriend. After I conceived I slept with my husband unknowing that I was already pregnant. I am disgusted by my husband sexually and I realized that I dont want to be with him I just dont know how to tell him its finally over and that I'm pregnant by someone else. I also don't want to be with my boyfriend either. I am fine raising this kid alone. I just dont want to hurt hubby and I am so confused I dont know what to do. Any suggestions? I know I'm screwed (literally and figuratively).

when i was 16 years old I fell in love with the man i am currently having an emotional relationship with. we went out for four years, distance parted us and we never fell out of love we just stopped talking. He married his next girlfriend and they are now going to have there 2nd child together. When he was ready to ask for a divorce she told him she was pregnant. Now that she is pregnant he doesn't want to put her through all of that right now. I love him and I am willing to wait for him, but should I? Question Details: ok so the other night i slept over my best friends house. I am 16 and pregant. she does it all the time i cant understand why she wont flush =she like's look at her own feces and mine... We all live in the same state we aren't even 100 miles apart. but we see each other like once or twice a year and never at the same time. My mom is moving to Hawaii soon and I know she will want to see us all before she goes but my siblings are a pain in the butt and can't stand each other.
