I'm kinda a teacher's pet and kinda shy. Some people think I'm werid. I don't want to act sexual to get a guy to like me. Ideas?

You need to go to the right places to meet guys who have a lot in common with you. Maybe Barnes and Nobles?
You might also consider online dating where your eccentricities and shyness will be less of a problem.

Well.... Your best bet would be letting a guy(s) get to know you. Most people date people like themselves, so go find yourself a teachers pet, kinda shy, weird type of guy and ask him out. I know it's not the "typicall" thing for a girl to ask the guy but if you're having trouble finding a guy take the initative (plus guys like a girl to take charge every now and then).

I'm a guy. This is what I like girls to do. Haha that sounds weird. I'm assuming youre a teenager. Don't get sexual, for a lot of guys thats a turnoff. The best thing is to be yourself. Don't change what you like and who you are in hopes that a guy will like you. That is so stupid and a waste of time and energy. Try not to focus on it too much. Have fun with your friends and eventually the right guy, who likes you for you, will come into your life. Don't rush it or force it.

if you just be yourself.I'm a cheerleader on the varsity team at my high school.I'm pretty outgoing and have a good relationship with my teachers...and i am who i am . i would not change for some guy.but be who you are and don't try to be somebody that you are not.because then you are not being true to yourself....also try to talk to guy.they don't like when girls just sit in a corner and are all shy...well the cool ones that is.anyways,start a conversation with them just talk about school and teachers and football or some kind of sport.don't be shy.but the main lesson here is just to be yourself!!!

Generally speaking just being female is enough for guys to like you. This will become appearant as you get older and you will grow tired of their constant advances. For now just enjoy your freedom fron the opposite sex and keep up the good grades in school.

well jjjjsimone acting shy is very normal and you do not want to rush things and it is good that you are not trying to be sexual to get guys to like you you should try to stand out by being your self and try talking to others guys more often-Hope This Helps

You have the right idea! Women should never lower their standards. I know how you feel though. I'm glad I never was referred to as the school slut or 'easy'. You just hang in there and be yourself!

Most important is to just be yourself. Also, try to talk to guys a lot and be happy and outgoing, everyone likes a girl that they could have a good time with.

if ur good with any thing like math or history or any kind sports or activities. u can impress guys by showing ur talents. i think there is lots of guys who r shy like u.

just be as nice as you can, always look your best, and when it looks like a guy is trying to look at you, and when you look at them, then they turn away, that probably meens they like you. if they end up making eye cantact just give him a nice smile. :) and say hi to guys alot when you walk by them, not random guys but if you have at least talked to them once, or got to know eachother or something like that!
