He still has to pay child support. If you WANT to allow him to pay 1/2 you can chose to do so, but the court requires him to paid the amount agreed upon unless you as the receiver change the amount, or you two go back to court for an adjustment based on a change in his pay or your necessity and circumstances. If he gets ugly about it tell him to feel free to contact his or your attorney who will be happy to explain his responsibility to him. Hope that helps!!!

i guess it depends on the state and the child custody papers. i dont get the 2 weeks of support when my daughter isnt here.. bc he is having to provide for her the 2 weeks shes there..

No, you should get child support unless it's specified in the divorce papers that you don't. It varies from state to state, but usually child support has to be paid even when the child is staying with them.
You need to check your papers. It should state it in there if you don't get it.
