I constantly feel belittled and talked down to by my parents. They treat my brother much better than they do me. Why do parents tend to treat the males better than the females?

he wants me to get my stretch marks on my legs lazer removed befor our wedding becuz he thinks there ugly and he gets mad that i dont want to do it and i think if he cant except the fact that i have stretch marks then maby we shouldnt get married

When my ex-husband and I first got married, his sister came to stay with us from overseas. She is the same age as me. She was born on the same day/ year.

She had her 9 month old daughter with her. He said "Can you be as good a Mom as her?" and I did not know what to say.

I had just gotten married and had not even thought of having children yet.

He also said that she cooked better than me, etc. She was a housewife.

I felt hurt and upset. I should have been strong and thought of the correct response.

I am 16 and I live with my mom and she isgoing to move 2 hors away and i do not want to move away.......My boyfriend is 16 also and he lives with his mom ........We live in Michigan ....would I be able to live with him some how if my mom said no and his mom said yes? My husband cheated on me with 2 different women at the same time, they were both telephone relationships as far as I know, but it just hurt me that he doesnt even listen to me but yet he has time to go spend 2 other women, it hurts me so bad. I need to leave him because I dont trust him and probably never will. He cheated on me and then threatened to hurt or kill me if I try to leave, but I love him and I am afraid to leave, but I am also afraid to stay. Please help me? What do I do?

I dont wanna leave US or my dad. My mom said many times we are leaving, but this time I think shes serious. She said she has saved up some money. God I hope she spends it all on cigarettes like she always does. I was born in Czech Republic. I went to school there only until 3rd grade. Then I moved to California. I love it here. I mean im perfect at school. 3.5 GPA. I got an honor award for having 3.5 GPA. I think my life is here in Cali. But I think you need some kind of special papers to get into college here. I dont have those. So I might move after I finish 8th grade. But WITH MY DAD. Hes the greatest dad ever. I mean if it wasnt for him, I'd be on the streets right now. He pays rent, bills, gets me games and everything. He's so nice. And my mom, she doesnt speak English, shes very upset all the time. I dont wanna live a life with her. I wanna live with my dad. We either get the special papers or we leave after 8th grade. Back to my country and then to England. Why England?

I basically feel that my mother-in-law replaced me in my daughter's life. Once she came to this country from India, she had the final say in what classes my daughter took during the summer, what clothes she wore and everything else in her life.

She used to also say the when she took my daughter places, she would refer to her as "my daughter." Then, she said that I could not take care of my child's hair. She took my daughter to get her hair cut also.

I wonder if I should have been stronger and put my foot down and said that this was my child and I had the final say. The problem was that my ex-husband never supported me.

Now, since my ex-husband has sole physical and legal custody, she has raised my daughter. I gave up too soon, but now don't think my daughter will ever be close to or love me. I guess its what I deserve in life.

I find it so hard to trust ppl.. because i always find out ive been lied to or i get stabbed in the back.. I love my partner to death and i know how much he cares for me but he still tells me lies accaisionally although they arnt that bad, like he will lie about what he did in a day to impress me.. but lies are lies.. i am starting not to trust him and i get all paranoid and ask alot of questions to catch him out i just wanna know how to trust someone and not be so paranoid!?

I know I sound spoiled and selfish but wouldn't u be the same way if ur parents never allowed u 2 have a life they hate all my bf's they don't let me live my life i.e: they dont let me go out at all they are soooo overprotective i know i'm only 17 but i'm already in college i graduated high school june 1st of this year. and plus my B-day is the 29th of Oct. i should be at least treated like an adult already even if its a little bit man!!!!! I am so dead. My mom wants us to go back to our country. I live in America, California. My mom hates almost all our relatives. Well, the main ones i guess. She hates my dad, my grandma, my dad's grandma, lets just put it, she hates all of my dad's family. And her family too. So I guess I can put it that way. Anyway, she says we are leaving in a month. Guys, I know 5 words of my language (Czech). I used to be perfect in my language, but thats before I moved to America. Now, I only know like 5 words. And I'm perfect at English. I dont want to go. My fiance and I are so in love. We want so badly to be with each other forever. When it comes to our families, we started on the wrong foot. His family thinks I'm a control freak (anyone else get that?) and my mom thinks he is too lazy to be a good husband. Now my family loves him. He lives with me in my mom's garage... Until we have enough money to get out on our own. But, his family hasn't stopped disliking on me. It's making him so annoyed at them for this that he's starting to blame me for it. We fight a lot about what they speak of me and it hurts me so much. Is there any way to fix this mess before it causes my baby to give into their words and break us up?
