that seems like a very rude and petty thing to ask. i am sure there are things wrong with him and you are not picking on him. remind him that no one is perfect and he better learn to deal or he is gone.

BIG RED FLAG! He's being controlling and extremely superficial. Does he have a pattern of this? (I wouldn't be surprised.) If you marry him, it will only get worse. I agree: If he can't accept the fact that you have stretch marks, you shouldn't get married.
And BTW, what if you were in a disfiguring accent, or needed a mastectomy? Do you think he would stick by you? I don't.

Totally shallow, EVERYONE has stretch marks, I bet he even has them as well, if he can't accept something so natural and normal as stretch marks then he is a vain, arrogant man and you've got the right idea, maybe you shouldn't get married.

He should accept you as you are now. End of story. If he thinks you should do this prior to marriage... what is he gonna do when you both get like 50 and gravity takes place? He needs some serious help. Let him get mad and let him get himself that "perfect wife" he is looking for elsewhere. You deserve to be loved for you and anything that is less that perfect on your body. He needs to grow up. Sorry.
