I believe some men hit a point where being able to "snag" a younger girl makes them feel young again. It doesn't mean that are truly interested in that young female for who/what she is but for how she makes him look and feel. Now, as for a wife not minding her spouse "checking out" a younger female? That's called window shopping. I don't believe there is anything wrong with window shopping as long as someone doesn't attempt to or actually make a purchase. We are only humans. Women look at men, regardless if they want to admit it. What a double standard to tell a man he can't look. Keyword: LOOK. Reality is, if a man, or a woman, wants to leave, they are going to do so anyhow. Trying to control the looking isn't going to stop them.

I agree many older men are interested in younger women. They feel more manly, younger, and vibrant when they are in the presents of youthful women.
Sorry, but it is the way their makeup is since the beginning of time. Men have to feel masculine. This urge is centered in their brains and it is for procreation. If that were not the case and men (young and old) were more attracted to older women our population would decrease. Because older women are less likely to concieve and have a baby. So the mans brain is made to have them crave younger women. It is all nature.
I am not saying it is healthy and I truly dislike any large age difference in relationships. Nothing over 9 years to be exact.
My mother married a much older man and it left her life in shambles and us kids longing for a real father who was there.
She was 25, he was 55. They were divorced after 12 yrs and 5 kids. We were left in poverty while my father retired and went traveling. He wanted freedom. He died at 75 and we were left without a father at a young age (I was middle child and was 17). A large age difference is always a problem. Even love and commitment can not deny death.

Most women do mind their husbands checking out younger women but they may not make a scene in public. And others get so used to it that it may not bother them anymore.

All men will look. It becomes a problem when they take it further and touch.

So the answer is real simple: no, not all of them are like that. Control, narcissism and other negative traits are always present starting in youth and growing, worse, typically, as one ages. Why do others say this? Generalizations. That is all there is to it. Stereotypes are usually born from repeated coincidences. The reasons for marriage are always vast. Attraction from older men to younger women has always been happening (from fertility, looks, ego or pure coincidence).

If the truth be told, every man is bored to death with having sex with only one woman within a year. An "older guy" has probably been married awhile, and wishes that his wife would get hit by a bus.

Naturally the guy is going to look at anything under 29 and over 14!

Older men want to believe they've still "got it!" Younger girls are a real fantasy with older men. I don't know of any wives or girlfriends of older guys who would even put up with their man checking out younger girls.

All I can think about concerning older men is...dentures, bald heads, saggy skin and bellies. I picture somone with a body like the Grinch (played by Jim Carey). Why would any young girl want this??????? Beats me!

Older men still want to know they got it. They still want that extra boost of ego that only a woman can give a man. An older man with a younger woman says "yeah. I'm old. But I pulled me a fine foxy lady!"

Women don't mind because women age. And older women just can't compare to younger women. At 24 you've got fresh radiant skin, perky boobs, and a firm bottom. At 42 you've got thinning grays, crows feet, and sun damage. Can't compete, so why try? Just let em look.

because its only natural for men to look at girls older women understand that and dont feel threatened by a glance besides women look at younger girls more than men to compare themselves and critique its not something you conscientously do If its any more than a look than the only explanation is that the guy is a creep but all older men do not fit into this category

Don't kid yourself....a LOT of women DO mind. Just because they don't have the poor taste to act like they are pissed in public doesn't mean they don't give him hell later.

Not all older married men are interested in younger girls....maybe you just have a really big ego and THINK they are checking you out.

Maybe they trust their man? Not all guys cheat, but enjoy looking at hott women. Its biological, but getting into their pants is diabotical.
