I have never evr seen or talked to my real dad. This christmas I am going over to see him! What should I do!

Ok, I am a girl who was raised by a single mother... my father choose not to be part of my life... Well 2 years ago I got into contact with my father... him and I both talked about the reasons behind him not being a father... and why he ran out of the relationship to my mother after I was born... The best advice I can give you is to not expect too much. I dont know the situation of why your father hasn't been there... but give him the chance to explain, and let him know all the good things he's missed out on. If things dont work out then at least remember it was better to get things settled before you went on with your life, and if you made it this far without him you can continue doing so.... dont change yourself for him be who you are and he should love and respect what you are not what u might pretend to be...

Don't freak out! It's just your dad just tell him what heppened throughout your life. Give him a present for Christmas. Maybe go out for some dinner later and invite some friends. Just be yourself not anymore not anyless (i'm not sure if anyless is a word but u know what i mean lol)

Be yourself. Give him a chance. Ask him a lot of questions. Be kind. Listen to what he has to say.
It may not turn out the way you want, so don't go in expecting too much. That way you won't be so disappointed and if it all goes well you can celebrate.

You should run up to him and give him a big hug and kiss! I am on in my 10's but it sounds so happy that you will finially meet him. I know I am not the best person for advice but go for it! I wish you lots and lots of luck!

Well you should have someone go with you. Or try to meet before hand somewhere like a restaurant just to talk so it isn't so uncomfortable around the holidays.
