My exboyfriend and I dated for 3 years and then broke up because we disagreed on some issues and his mother didnt like me. We still keep in contact and he says I'm still his best friend. He doesnt know if we will ever get back together, but he says he misses me and loves me. What should I do? Move on?

if he don't want be with you...then don't let him in for the night.
it gets weird, he'l just call by say hi try in get in your pants cause the history makes you easier than going and finding someone new
you end up having only the sex and nothing else. no accountability. aint good for ya

If the circumstances in your relationship were too much deal with back then, has anything really changed? Of course he still loves you--when two people who have been dating for 3 years break up, it doesn't mean that they don't care about one another any longer, it just means that things happened and it wasn't the right time for that relationship.

If you feel now that you can overcome the things you disagreed on before and that you can get over his Mom not liking you, then I'd say go for it, but go out as friends first and slowly work your way to dating him again. If your disagreements ended up in fights, I'd say agree to disagree and let it go.

I went through the same situation .... right down to the mother part. It is a big mistake to wait for him or anything similar to that. Of course he still loves you, you were together for 3 years. Both of you still haven't moved on. So do NOT get back together.

He still loves you, but he is not IN love with you.

Move on........ give yourself a chance for something better. Remember things didn't work out the first, what makes you think things will be better the second time.

Sounds like you needed to hear this.
Good Luck

Well if he isn't willing to work out the issues and get past his mother than you need to do what is right for you. And find a guy who can really be there for you.
