I made the mistake of involving myself in a group called standers who believe that I have to wait for my ex to come to her senses. I say there is a difference between forgiving her and waiting for her (reconciliation). I am not waiting for her to realize she made a mistake, in fact, I don't believe it matters.

If she does come to her senses too late, then what is that to me? The Bible talks about the foolish virgins who lost out on their chance to enter the kingdom because they were not prepared. I think many prodigals (like my ex) are going to discover that they've repented too late. Not that I want this but, I a don't have to wait. Life is too precious to wait and put on hold for someone who willingly has given their marriage to divorce.

I have made a bad choice by cheating on my wife and I told her because she was concerned how my car got broken into and I came out and told her everything. We are 21 and I really want to be with her. I have sex problems that stem from past issues (no excuse). I need to find people trying to help. If you have on intentions on helping then dont write. I dont need any better peoples responses. I love my wife and want to find out about outside help (professional). Thank!!

When you hurt your spouse and children in that way - can you ever be truly happy with your new life? Is it possible to simply walk away from one life into another and not look back other than to spend time every other weekend with your kids? Can you truly start loving another person so much you are willing to risk everything you have built with another person - your spouse - to be with this person? Or is it pure selfishness?

so there is a guy I like...and he MIGHT like me back. I am not sure if I should tell him how I feel* ruining the "friendship" I am establishing* or let it go unsaid. I think he knows...and yet I am not sure. How do I know if he actually likes me?

In a nutshell, my twin sister is a lesbian and she is having a ceremony with her partner in July...but we had a very intense disagreement last month...We were hanging out with a group of friends, and at some point we began having the debate about whether homosexuality is genetic or a choice...during the discussion, my sister said she believes it is genetic, and me being her twin brother (and straight)...I disagreed with her...I guess we just never talked about this before, I accepted her and she accepted me and that was it (and I don't really care in the first place)...but this led to the worst argument we have ever had together...we haven't spoken since, and I feel like I've lost my best friend...we went from talking at least once a day to total silence, and its killing me inside...on top of that, I know the invitations have already been mailed, and I did not receive one...if she's getting married, I really do want to be there...and further, I want to make up...any ideas?

I am in my late twenties and have been married for 5 years, but seperated for awhile. My husband was supposed to be moving back in at the end of this month, and he told me last night that he wasn't completely sure he was in love with me. He said 75% sure, 25% unsure. He wants to postpone moving in even longer, but even though he doesn't know for sure, he wants to continue with the relationship. He said he wants to "honor his commitment to me". I do know he loves me, and he isn't having an affair. I am not worried about that. He said he has been questioning this the last 4-6 weeks, as the "deadline" of moving in gets closer. I think he has "cold feet" so to speak. He was shifted around a lot as a child, and he doesn't want to risk moving in if even an ounce of him thinks it may not work. He is terribly afraid of failure - not just in our relationship. I am not changing myself, and I know everyone is different, but what qualities do women have that men fall in love with?

can a man ever be satisfied with a woman's flaws...every woman has them. sometimes we have hairy legs, smelly feet, bad breath, stretch marks, or any other number of things. women work really hard to look good and appeal to men, yet we still seem to feel like we could be better in some way. we don't always have time to do our makeup or have perfect hair or shave our legs. we aren't victoria's secret models who spend hours getting their hair and makeup done, whose photos are airbrushed. don't men understand that it's hard for real women to keep up? we just try our best.

I have been in a monogamous relationship with my boyfriend for 9 yrs. now, we have been living together for the past 4 yrs. We are both 38 yrs. old and have 5 children between the two of us. Him 2 and me 3. We used to talk about marriage until recently he told me that it was not a priority of his and wasn't on his top "10" list of things to do. He has never been married, I have been. He is happy and content with just playing house. If he doesn't want to commit and marry me then what makes him think he has the right to tell me that I "belong" to him? I tell him that I don't see a ring on my finger and I don't carry his last name, I belong to no one. Why do men think they have the right to lay claims on you without marital commitment? Yes, being married to him is important to me. I feel like nothing that I say or what I want is important, he only cares about what he wants. Honestly I am tired of feeling like I am nothing more than his "bed buddy".

Well, I`ve been talking to a boy one year younger than me(freshman). He is so quiet around me but talkative around his friends. I`m usually the shy one but when I talk to him I have to do most of the talking. When we first started chatting it was the other way around, so now I don`t know what to say to him when we have conversations.
Sometimes he would talk to other freshman girls and seem comfortable around them, but he was never totally comfortable around me.
I`m confused and I think I`m doing something to intimidate guys. I`m nice and sweet and they know I`m intelligent, but for some reason it doesn`t go smoothly.
Anyway, I have a crush on this boy and I just don`t want him to feel uncomfortable around me for whatever reason. He`s so quiet around me and I don`t think it`s because he doesn`t like me, I just think I need to work on my conversation skills. What can you say to a quiet guy like this? I`ve talked about band(because we`re both in that), his activities...

My "friends" always make fun of me because of my race and call me gay (i'm not gay).

My parents think i'm spoiled and completely useless (I'm not spoiled. . . i cant even get a cheap guitar for my birthday) .

I have excellent grades (4.0) and my parents are EXTREMELY wealthy, but refuse to share their money with me.

I am a nobody but even though I'm nice and generous to everyone, i'm still unpopular.

Nobody truly loves me.

Do you think its time for me to end my life?
