im very outgoing and i talk to random ppl at school. Like this guy was in the hallway and me and my friend were going to lunch and i was like "hey". Some people make fun of me for it. Do you think i weird??

Not weird just different. It becomes weird when you expect a "hey" in return.
When it comes to strangers a smile is usually much more universal. They're a lot easier to return and don't cause awkward situations.
A wave or "hey" is more often directed at people that you know.
It's good to be different but some people aren't going to see the positive side of it. Continue doing what suits you.

this is perfectly fantastic, I was always like this and people dont look at you weird they are just jalouse of your talent making friends and not being afraid to talk to strangers later on in life it will help you greatly trust me!!!!!!

Your not wierd. Being outgoing is a god thing. The people who make fun out of you are just insecure about themselves and are jealous of how happy and how nice/great you are. Dont change for other people. If you enjoy being like this, then you dont need to change.

Being friendly is a good thing but not to each and everyone u meet or know or see or strangers. In being friendly with friends there is nothing wrong but not to a stranger or to someone u just know.
I have a friend she gets friendly even with strangers I really get irritated with her when she does tha
Be friendly only with friends and family or else people would really think ur weird!

No... you should be glad you are that confident! You're just social... ignore the people who say thats weird, because you will meet loads of new people by approaching them. Most people I know would be too shy to just start a conversation with someone they didn't know, so good for you!
