How bad? Are we talking a scene from American Pie? Or Animal Farm?
If it's just an OMG! Embaressing situation but not really 'wrong', hold your head up and remember all of us need to find ourselves and learn about our bodies/mind and grow as individuals. If it was something you know it either illigal or morally wrong then maybe you need to think about this being a good oppotunity to put things right and get some help, I'm sure if you need help your Dad would want to help. I dont know what to tell you. When I was 17 my dad found a tape I made that my boyfriend took of me when I was 16. We never talked about it after that and to this day there is still this akwardness between us, but not too bad. (its been 10 years since he found it). Is this bad thing sexual? Was it really a bad thing? or just a normal thing that became uncomfortable because your parents should never see you doing that?

I suppose that depends on what you mean by bad... bad as in illegal, or bad as in immoral (whether that is in your parents' eyes or yours.)
Illegal... well, that is a big one to try and clear. Immoral... as in sex or masturbation... consider what bad is first.
If it's a matter of immoral, at one point or another, many of us go through that. The question that I would have is, why did you refer to it as bad? If it's illegal, I can understand the "bad" reference to it.
You can always keep in mind that it is possible for parents to walk in on anything, so to speak. Try to be mindful of your actions and then you would be without the issues that you are dealing with now.

wow. that really is embarrassing. well your dad will understand that u are a man, and he will know that he did the same thing he was younger. the best thing i would do is try to lock doors so that doesnt happen again and apologize to your dad that he had to say that. and if that doesnt work i also suggest maybe getting an apartment so that wont happen again.

Don't worry about it so much, all bys do that and sometimes there parents walk in on them.. Your parents probably wil not bring it up, just watch yourself and make sure the door is lock.

Forget about it, he probably will. All guys do this when they feel the need, even the married ones whose wives are not there at night cause they're working. It's part of life and normal.

If the thing you were doing is humanly normal, say something about it to your dad, "Let a guy know, and knock please, dad?"
If it it's bad as in marijuana, then you need someone to intervene for you.
You're young, and your dad has seen American Pie, and if he hasn't put in in the VCR or DVD, and let him laugh.

It depends on what you did that was bad. If you did, you should apologize and talk straight out to him and about whatever you did to him. You may get grounded or in trouble (depends on how old you are), but you have to accept it because because you got what you deserved.

what were you doing? lol, because it will depend on whether you need to address the situation with them or not.
I have had a few awkward situations with my parents but I just ignored it..haha, it worked for me. Never mentioned it.

If it was SEX you need to give them sometime to cool off because I pretty sure they are full of a lot of different emotions but then you will need to talk to them but it is not going to be easy for either of you
