I love my husband. Our marriage hasn't been perfect. I've been wrong on alot of things, but I've never cheated ever, and never will. However, a couple weeks ago, I accidentally found websites that he visited for internet porn. Not just one, but several. Infact, he has an online file upload account. Our sex life is good, but I did notice he did something slightly freaky, and when I asked him where it came from he said "nowhere". I knew he was lying to me. Now I find myself checking my computer and his everyday...knowing that it will be there. I'm not a bad looking woman at all, but I feel ugly. Porn doesn't bother me at all.....it's the lying, and hiding it. A few days ago, I found evidence that he attempted to secretly film us having sex. Unfortunately for him, I took too long putting our kids to bed, so when I found the camcorder and viewed the tape, it was just him setting it up, and laying on the bed until he fell asleep. What should I do? I feel scared and alone...

I am Male of Asian-Hindu origin of 33/34yrs; I would like to propose a girl for an engagement and later to get marry with her. She is within the same cast/religion/race & country.

By profession I am accounting qualified but apparently she is not that well educated and not sure on how she is able to speak or write English, a computer literate and other skills in general for life.

Down the line, will it make the happy match for me & for her, considering she being my wife, to brought-up kids bright and to spend whole life with her in future.

The other option is that, people go to India to get a wife because they are educated. It’s a big question for me to travel, as I don’t have ideas at all for India plus taking into account for time, money, costs and not to lose my job/work.

Dear all I am really very worried, serious & confused on the above matter and seeking your help in a realistic manner, as it’s going to be my fist & last lifetime decision.

I will highly appreciate to you all, for your positive responses and thoughtful answers for making my decision happy.

I know a woman who is in her mid '20's about to marry a man in his mid '50's. She says she is deeply in love with him, but I feel because he has a lot of money (which he willingly spends on her) and a big house that she is "dazzled by the lights".

Does anyone out there have any knowledge or experience with this kind of relationship? Have you known one to work or did divorce come quickly?

Alot of men tend to see this as me being interested. Men over the age of 30 that is. i am not easy either. so why does this always happen to me.

Every time I meet a new guy, this question always pops up in my mind--assuming I'm interested in sleeping with him, how long should I wait before letting him “get it on?” I'm afraid that if I let him do it on the first or second date he'll think I'm a slut and quickly lose interest in me. But, if we wait much longer than that, he might just get tired of waiting and bail on me anyway. I respect your opinion, so tell me--how long is too long?

He basically abandoned our son right after he told me he was divorcing me. He moved to another state and was remarried within 6 months. He calls our son every night, has since he left. Our son misses him terribly but considers him more of a friend than a father. Even when my ex was living here he was an absentee father. I am trying not to be bitter for the betrayal but we were married for 25 years and the only good thing to come of it was our son. He sent me a text message on Mothers Day, not a card, so was not sure whether I should do this.

I see these people everyday, we've all become good friends. And they are all getting married withhin the next year. It starts this November and runs through late 2008.

I really don't want to attend these weddings. I'm not a big wedding guy to begin with, I don't really have anyone to go with, and I'm not going to know ANYONE at these things besides my co-workers. This is not to mention that I have 2-3 family weddings within the next year as well, and the expense is really going to start to catch up with me.

I can't just make excuses for all of them as they approach, can I? That'd look to sketchy I feel. How do I tell 4 people I interact with everyday that I don't want to attend any of their weddings??

I was in an abusive marriage and my ex-husband was controlling and money-minded. I feel more free to make decisions now. I live with whatever the consequences are.

I wonder though because my ex keeps telling me that I have ruined my life by leaving him. I have been away from him for about 5 years.

Does life generally get better or worse after leaving a marriage? I know that it will vary from case to case also.

First, let me say that I am not a jealous or vindictive person...and I have tried to always do things in my daughter's best interest. However, I feel the very essence of my motherhood is as stake, things keep getting worse. The down and dirty of the situation is that my ex's new wife broke up my marriage when I was pregnant. That positioned her to be my daughter's #2 Mommy from the time my daughter was 6 months old. My daughter is now almost 5 and she doesn't seem to differentiate between the other woman and myself. To make matters worse, they keep seeking more and more visitation with her. I don't mind my daughter having a relationship with her dad. I just want her to know that I am her mom. She's my only child and probably always will be my only child. My ex and his new wife have no children of their own...and since we're in our mid-30s, I'm not sure they ever will. Please don't say that my daughter will know I'm her mom in time...because I can't be sure of that.

My married woman friend from work is having an affair with a man behind her husbands back. He seems to call all of the shots and only sees her when he wants to. She does his shopping for him and constantly goes to see him for an hour at a time. He only texts her back when he seems to feel like it and she also told me he has a picture of himself and another woman in his living room.
The thing is she has very little confidence, hates her husband and seems to go to the length of wishing herself dead if her new man wouldnt want to see her any more. I don't think she trusts him.
What do you think she should do?

This morning when I dropped my 6 yr old son off at his fathers before work, he took forever to answer the door and then offered me a bottle of water (as if to keep me in the house for a second). When i was pulling out of the driveway i saw a girl crossing the street and getting into a car that was parked behind the house across the street. MIND YOU, IT WAS 6 AM!!
So I do believe that he had company and made them sneak out the side door as i came in the front!! EWE! He claims im crazy and that she wasnt there for him but, i dont get where she could of come from at that hour. He and I have been trying to work out our relationship since March, and I think this should be the last straw. What do you think!

My gf is 1st generation, meaning her parents are from another country. They are Asian. Her mom drives her nuts, which in turn, drives me nuts too. Her mom had a few "tough" times like 30yrs ago but dwells on it constantly and it puts her in depressing moods. She insist that her daughter must constantly listen to it, with no aim for closure, but more for just venting. My gf gets exhausted with this but the mother is relentless-it's an issue like every other day. We tried explaining that everyone is responsible for their own happiness and that things are good now so why dwell, but she doesn't care for all that. she also wants to be babied. It's quite ridiculous to see a 52 year old women act so silly. She says her daughter is bad and doesn't care because my gf doesn't serve her (during dinner) or baby her when she is sick (not serious sickness but like a tickling throat). Even the lady's doctor told her to quit coming so often-she was scheduling appts about 3 times a week.

Okay I have a huge dilemma. My sister was scheduled for a C-section on May 11 of this year but had it done a day early. My wedding is scheduled for May 10, 2008. Which means, he will turn 1 on my wedding day which happens to be a Saturday. And she always plans the kids birthday parties for Saturdays. Should I reschedule my wedding or ask her to have the party another day? I love my sister and my nephew so I don't want to cause any kind of rift in the family. But she knew we had already started planning the wedding when she decided to go a day early. I don't want to be selfish but I really want to keep my wedding date. I need some advice!!

This isn't me but one of my bestfriends. She called me in tears because her boyfriend had taken a friend (who is a girl) of his for a meal whilst she was on holiday. He told her casually in conversation and she wishes he would have told her outright.
She has not said this to him however and is very angry.
What do you suggest she say?

My husband has 2 children with his ex girlfriend. We have one child together. His ex is pregnant by his cousin and his family is so excited about the new baby coming. We mentioned to his mother that we are thinking of trying for another baby soon and she flat out said "no you're not". She wasn't kidding either. I love his mom but this really hurt my feelings. The rest of the family just shrugged their shoulders. Whats up with this?

I've always been the most responsible among my siblings and I try my best not to disappoint my parents throughout my life. I have been trying to help out every time my parents quarreled even after I got married.

More recently, we started our own family and I now have a baby. Perhaps due to the stress of taking care of my baby and managing our own family matters, I get very affected every time my parents have some problem between themselves. This is especially when my mum started calling me with all her problem with dad. Although I tried listening but it really feels like a heavy cross that I have to carry everytime...

This has even started to affect my husband and my baby. Just 2 weeks ago, due to the stress from parents' problems, myself have not been sleeping well, which also affected my husband and baby. Both of them fall sick because of this... I'm so stressed that sometimes I just want to turn a blind eye and live my life without being emotionally affected. Is this selfish?
