Hi, Im getting married in July 2007 and the ceremony will be held outside at a park. Its going to be a very private ceremony with just our immediate family present but we are having a reception following the ceremony with our closest friends and family :)The wedding party is also just family (our siblings, my niece and nephew). So I was wondering if anyone has any interesting or unique ideas that we could add to the ceremony to make it more special.

Me and my wife have been married for 7 years (together for 10). She recently became pregnant with our second child and has become very clingy. I know it's from the pregnancy, but she is demanding all my spare time. (I work two jobs and go to school part time to better take care of her). I don't want much, but this past weekend some friends called at wanted me to hang out with them at the bar. My wife started crying, saying "you never want to spend time with me" and asking if I still loved her. My response was yes and I ended up staying home, (was very grupy about it though). How can I tell her I feel like I can't breath and need some space. My friends are planing a guys weekend at the lake over memoral day weekend but I'm afraid to even bring it up with how emotional she is.

Is there any way I can bring it up without hurting her feelings or seeming like I don't care about her, and still get to go.

...for something he said or did. I think it's natural sometimes for a woman to slap a man if she feels insulted or betrayed (we see it done all the time in movies and on tv, because it's a "classic" moment).

But, see, I don't want to be abusive or hit him repeatedly. So if I ever feel the urge to strike out at him when he's made me really angry, what should I do? (Most things are not worth breaking up over, but they can make you pretty mad).

Walking away is not an option, I've never seen a woman who can do that (not in this century anyway). So should I maybe keep a foam bat around to hit him with a few times? It might actually help the situation to hit him with a toy....

Any thoughts? Real thoughts, not "you are crazy" and other unhelpful thoughts :)

im invited to a bday party and know my ex is gonna be there and my current on and off ''bed buddy'' who is his best mate will be there aswell. so do i go and have a good time, trying to avoid any drama in just showing both of them the cold shoulder and to hang out manly with my girlfriends. or should i better stay at home?

Two years into the relationship he said he wanted me to move in with him - I was not ready. He told me that he had thought of marriage. I found a charge on my bank account. It was only 5 bucks, but I knew the charge wasnt something I had bought. I asked my husband if he knew what it was, and he said "oops, i signed up for a free trial of a 4 wheeling mag, but i guess i didnt read the fine print". Sounded fishy to me, but I had no proof otherwise. I finally did some digging. It was listed as RKNetmedia on my account, so I googled it. Apparantly, they are a company that runs adult sites. My bank couldnt give me any contact info for the people who charged me, so all I know is what I found online. I'm peeved that he felt the need to lie to me. For gods sake, if he wanted a membership to an adult site, he just could have talked to me about it. He knows I'm cool with that stuff as long as I am included or at least aware of it. So I caught him in a lie. And hes at work right now. What would you do?

i dont know why she hated me so much? today i left my friend a mother's day greeting on her website and for some reason my ex's wife has some comment on her page...it was 2mths ago actually we both was been invited in a bday party...

i was upset that i know in my heart she was talking about me in that message saying that are friend shouldn't invited a ugly stranger..not physically but mentally...blahblah....those stuff....

is she jealous of me or what?? i didnt even talked to my ex when i saw him at that party...

i'm the one who broke upw/myex cuz he accidentally pussed me while we were arguing so that day i broke w/him and i never get back...so she the nxt gf she used to called me when they barely dating...for some reason she got my number at first she trying to be friends w/me...my ex used to beat her up everytime they get in a fight...

What does it mean if you are out to dinner with your bf (been together almost two years) and he says that he doesn't want to go through everything we have with someone else and then starts asking about what our future looks like. Im 33, shes quite 34, we dont have kids!! our marriage right now is in the middle of big big crisis. I have told her that I can't see myself strong enough to maintain the commitment of being married. Obviously she got panic. We 've talking about this and she is scared because she is in a hurry to have kids. I have been married to my husband for almost 18 yrs, but for the last several, he has been getting consistently more abusive. He smacks, pushes, kicks, pulls me by my hair, spits in my face, and, most tormenting, the namecalling and mental abuse. He has alienated everyone we knew. He's told our family and friends that I am lazy and useless, and that I cheated on him.(This isn't true..we used to be swingers, & he prefered watching...long story!)
We live in the Midwest., and all my family is on the East coast.The only real witnesses I have to the abuse are my two boys, and they've left home, not on speaking terms with thier dad.
Various battles and bruises contributed to the loss of my job. Now, I am a slave/prisioner in my own home. He tells me if, when, where, and how long I can be gone, on the rare times he allows me to leave. My car keys and phones are kept locked and I must ask permission to use. He keeps me on a tiny $$. I am trapped, and worse, broken. How can i get out alive?

I seriously dated a girl for 3 years and stupidly made promises to be married, then renegged. This kills me, just I thought she would wait, it was how i was feeling at the time! Prob just being a guy, scared,etc. I thought things were fine and out of the blue last Sept. she said she needed time alone. Well, she immediately reconnected with an old bf and they were married 4 months later.She has been married for 3 months and we spoke for the 1st time since the wedding last week (she called me) and she told me she only got married bcs she wanted to be a wife, and that she would only get divorced if he GAVE HER a reason, but that she wouldnt do it bcs. she would feel too guilty. Didnt say anything about LOVE. But, she said she FEELS loved and SAYS she is happy (like 1000 times she told me). What do you think about this? She keeps on calling me, but ends up yelling at me and is still very upset. Will it last? Is she honestly happy?I am so devastated, taking depression meds now.

OK, so we're wishy-washy about should we have kid #2. When we ACTUALLY talk about it, like for real sit down and no sarcasm, we both agree that kid #2 is a good idea, but it's scary and can we do it, are we patient enough, do we have the money? It's hard. When we don't honestly talk about it, like just in passing, my husband's always like no way, no way, no way and I'm always like yes yes yes.

I sort of chalked it up to a loss because my little one will be 4 next month and we've never made up our mind, but then my husband brought it up again the other night and said how he knows we should have baby #2. We talked about how wonderful babies are and all that, but (of course) didn't like - make up our mind.

What's the best way to just help him figure out what he wants? He's said before that he needs help from me sometimes on making up his mind because he just can't do it - is this one of those things? How do you do that?

I know this is not the right category, but I felt I would get the best answers here.

What would you do if you went on a job interview with the state, and then they called you to come in and take a typing test which makes you feel you have a good shot at it, but then another department from the state called you in for an interview, and you really want that job. There is no guarantee you will get either one, but if the first one was offered to you before you heard from the one you really want, and the pay would be the same what would you do being that there is no guarantee for either. If I was to turn down the first one that I do want as well, but not as bad as the 2nd one then what happens if I don't even get the 2nd one.

We got married March 9 while he was home on leave. He has since gone back overseas, so we're dealing with the distance thing but we've been arguing a lot lately over the phone. Almost nitpicking about stupid things, and bringing up old arguments and exhausting them until we drive each other nuts. He will be home in about a month for a visit, and then I'm moving there in September, and things are 100% better when we are together. Has anyone ever had this problem? Is it because of the distance and that we are both frustrated? Any advice to fix this problem, or should we just stick it out until I get there? Please, only serious answers. Thanks!

It was just after lunch and he did this human lie detector thing on me and he asked me if i liked his friend and all i could d was stare and laugh at him and he said that means i like him. i denied it but he insisted that i did. lucky for me the guy i like was not around.
