What does it mean if you are out to dinner with your bf (been together almost two years) and he says that he doesn't want to go through everything we have with someone else and then starts asking about what our future looks like. Is that him telling me he is ready to get serious? OR that he is afraid of our future....but doesn't want to do it over...so he is settling.... What do I do with this?

Don't over analyze this. Men are basic...just ask him what he's saying. He'll tell you. Women always over analyze things to the point of ruining it. He's probably wanting to get serious and in his way (rationalizing) telling you the same thing.

Remember the three "B" with men:

1. Be blunt...that's how guys like it
2. Be black and white....no hiddeen agenda here
3. Be beautiful...this makes everything work out

CHeck out the following website..it's for guys but can give you good insight.

That's you reading way too much into a statement that your boyfriend has made. He's trying to compliment you for being with him through difficult times, and he couldn't picture going through it with someone else.

Men are confusing? What he said is pretty straight forward. The eleven million tangents you're going with this makes you the confusing one, my dear.

Stop being so analytical. Just go with the flow and enjoy what you have right now. Or you can always ask him all those questions and watch as he runs for the door!

He is getting ready to pop the question and he has his "feelers" out there to see it you might be saying yes so he wont look stupid because he wants to surprise you.

You talk to him about it. I'm not sure what he meant by it. It sounds like he is ready for something serious. You really need to talk to him about it.

Some men have a hard time being mushy and romantic. I think he's telling you that you are the one he wants forever. good luck.

Sounds like he is thinking out loud and hasn't thought it through yet.

Maybe you will get the answer by asking him! You have been together for four years, don't you trust his answer, to be honest?
