I work for a major hotel chain and I know that a lot of hotels require a marriage certificate if your last name doesnt match. I would just be upfront and call the hotel before you arrive and bluntly ask them what their policy is. Remember that in a lot of these countries there is not a separation of Church and State...
Also, dont go anywhere by yourself because I hear that its really dangerous for women to travel alone...

Sir / Bro If she is just a girl friend you want to spend time with, you can spend anywhere you like, not specifically in a resort. But if she's the one whom u r gonna marry. think once, twice or even ten times before you stay with her in privacy. This may impact ur life in either ways. Normally and legally none of the hotels or resort allows u to stay if they come to know u r not married.

all in all in hinduism there is many tell tale symbols for married women ... so better use a christian name ... and also u and ur bf name should be matching and in resorts u need to be daring enough to show public display of love ... only then ppl will believe u to be married or else they will doubt ...
i dont chennai is open minded to accept ur love affair before marriage .... thats worst society there ...complete hyppcrates live there ... if u can afford then bangalore and hyderabad are the places ppl dont bother apt wat others do .... women in bang have a lot of freedom these days ...
darling use condom and see that the resort room doesnt have any hidden cam before u do the act .... have good look in dark corners of room or else ur privacy may become others pleasure ... if ur not sure abt the hidden cam then do it in dark room ... groping in dark has its own pleasure ...

Go for good quatum before u stay there. Resort's won't give safty. u will get Nirodh even though not good quality it will be little bit safe. Enjoy ur stay.
