I Have been married for almost 10 years, for all the time, my husband has been bad with me, always telling me that I was not pretty, always putting me down, including other members of my family. He has said that I am smart, and that he is with me for that reason, but that he always had very pretty girlfriends before me. And of course ha has always said that he is not happy with me. We have two beautiful children 3 and 8. At first it was very hard, I use to cry any time he would insult me, because it just hurt, but since about two years ago, I don't really care about his insults, they don't have any effect on me, he has notice that, specially when I told him that I am sorry that he is not happy, and that he should go and find his happiness somewhere else. I don't want to have intimate relationships anymore with him, I can't, I even feel abused in that way. Sex now feels like sexual abuse. We are getting counseling but things don't change, about the way I feel. He, seems worry now

What should I do with this unwanted attention? There is a manager at work, in another department, not too much older than me, who obviously has a crush on me (yuck). He has not done anything ‘inappropriate’ just gives me the creeps. He acts like he knows me, keeps popping into my office for no reason and watches me all the time. Also last week I found it weird that he happened to take the same shuttle van I took. I catch him looking at me from the other floor he's on...I have never lead him on, the only thing I ever did was say good morning the elevator, as I do to everyone. He came in my office just 10 minutes ago and it freaked me out... He was friendly but I guess what bothers me is he acts like he knows me... He also confessed he didnt have a reason to be on my floor.. I do not want any of his attention…I also don’t want to go to HR and make a big stink…What do you think?

Someone's answer to another question made me realize that I might have a problem on my hands. Let's see where should I start with this. My question is: Would you consider this to be abuse? My boyfriend always expects perfection to the point where it causes an arguement if I'm not. Mainly it's just little things like how I do something or the way I answer him...
If you think this is abusive please give me some ideas on what to do. I don't want to leave him over this, I just want to fix it and continue with our relationship. We have a happy and loving relationship aside from this issue and I don't want to lose that.

Not to be a pervert or anything, but I'm just being curious. To us guys it feels really good. But girls tend to make a lot of noise while having sex? Is it because it hurts, feels good, or are they just making fake noises? Please give a reasonable mature answer. Don't call me a perve cause i'm not.

I've been in a relationship for almost a year. He's been extremely stressed with his family and work not doing well. Things were fine until recently when he's began pulling away from me. It feels as if we took a step back and now dating not in a relationship. We want to work things out but we don't know where to start. We live an hour away from each other and he's so busy with with work and family I only see him after he gets out of work during the week. Our backgrounds are so different, and with everything else we found ourselves at a standstill. He says he's confused and doesn't know what he wants, but he doesn't want to lose me. He's looking to me for answers that I can't give him cause I'm just as confused as he is. CAn we make it work and if we can how?

i recently met my online frnd for the first time, we just chit chatted for half an hour and while leaving,on the way,he asked me,if I could come to his room,i just said no.Everything went on well later on, He asked me after few days,if we could meet again.I asked him to decide the place, day n time.He decided and we agreed to meet up at that spot.On that particular day,he never responds to a call or sms, like this he himself asked me to meet and he wouldn't respond on that day.Like this he did twice.Once,I asked him for few books, which i need for reference,he said he will get it ,at the spot I said. But he didn't turn up and neither he gave any message,I was waiting for him at that spot. I tried to call, but he switched off his mobile. It was me again who called him later,he just said he 4got abt the books n went for a movie with his friends and apologized for it....why guys do such way, can't they tell directly if they don't like 2 continue friendship.what could be the reason for this

A while back when my boyfriend and I started dating, I found out that he looked at porn. (Not that he was addicted, just that he did it occasionally). I got really upset when I found out, and I'm still not over it almost a year and a half later. If he isn't hard when I do the smallest thing like touch his leg or give him a hug, I get really offended. I just feel like if he can easily get off looking at some nasty girls, than he should get off just as easily looking at me who he "loves" and "thinks is the prettiest girl in the world". What is my problem? We've talked the issue over multiple times, but I can't help but get angry at him sometimes. Please help, I really don't want this to ruin my relationship! (Also, he touched some girl's boobs when we first started going out...which I consider cheating..and now I can't stand seeing any movies with adultery or hearing about adultery easier) What's up with me?

I have asked my question before, but now I have more background info: I have been dating my bf for 3 years, and have been discussing marriage for awhile (we aren't officially engaged yet, but will be sometime soon). His younger sister (a few months younger than me) got engaged last summer, and is planning a big ostentatious destination wedding in the Caribbean for summer of next year. The problem is, my bf and I had been talking about getting married in spring of next year since before his sister got engaged. Now that my bf is about to graduate college and things become more official, we wanted to start talking about a date, but I'm not sure if it is a good idea to plan a wedding for a few months before his sister's wedding. I don't want a big showy wedding like hers, but is it ever ok to do this? I don't want to cause problems before I'm even officially in the family.

He's been divorced from his first wife (mother of his children) over 15 yrs and she's been remarried for 14 yrs to the man that she was cheating with while married. The financee has been married several times, but she and my brother have found their way back to each other, admitting they rushed the divorce 10 yrs ago. His 28 yr old daughter (with a husband, 2 yr old & a new house) is against this marriage fearing it will take time away from HER (she's now his only living child since he lost is son 3 yrs ago in a car accident). she constantly is at his house or calling him to go shopping, out to eat, etc (only so daddy will pay). His fiancee has 3 children (1 in college, 1 graduating high school - entering college in the fall and a sophmore in high school). The graduating daughter doesn't want the marriage either, but it shouldn't matter to her since she leaves 1 month after the wedding & will only be home select weekends. what should be said to the disapproving "children"?

I have been dating this guy for over 3 yrs and he has a lot of really great qualities. We are great friends, common interests, good sex, etc. We have a great relationship. However there is 1 problem...he is really cheap. Whenever he buys anything for us, he asks me for 1/2 the cash. Whenever I am the one paying, I don't even consider asking for 1/2. We drive my car EVERYWHERE so I am always buying gas. I sort of feel like once in a while he should offer to pay for gas or he should buy me dinner or something. We went to the bar on sat after I had made dinner (and paid for everything) for him and his bro and the cover was $3. He paid for his bro and not me! I don't want to start keeping a list of how much each of us spend or anything but I do think it should be more equal. This didn't bother me for a long time but now I am starting to feel taken advantage of. When I brought it up to him he got EXTREMELY defensive. Am I being silly? What is the right way to approach this?

but didn't give us a card or present or anything. Not to sound spoiled or anything, but I just don't know what else to put in my Thanks you cards. I like to personalize the cards & make them unique, but I am having a hard time finishing these cards when I can't thank the guests for anything other than attending the wedding. (mind you some of these guests "bragged" about winning big in the casinos that very same weekend!)
