You don't have to, since the talking-in-the-back friend may just have a bad habit he doesn't realize...(In that case, his good friend or a family member needs to talk to him about that, not you, unless you become real good friend each other) If he is really not respecting your cousin, that friendship will not last long (so why be bothered?)

I would talk to the one whos' running his/her mouth and let them know that you don't think it is cool to talk about a friend behind his or her back and see where that gets you. Don't tell the friend whos being talked about, you'll just cause more problems.

well obviously her friend doesnt cherish the friendship if she is talking bad behind your cousins back. bring it up to her. tell her what you know. so she can confront the issue herself. i find its always better that way.

good luck

it's not really a friendship if one is talking behind the others back now is it? Tell her/him, it's better she/he knows before she/he fins out on their own.

I don't think you should saying anything directly. Drop a few hints. Its not really your problem and it might come back to sting you if you do tell.

I would definetly tell her. She deserves to know that her best friend isn't really a friend at all.
