i got a flower, a candy lei, and some candy from a restaurant. the weird thing is- I'M NOT A MOTHER!!

My husband detailed my car. Ha ha, leave it to a man to think that is a gift. I could really care less if the car was clean or not. If I did care I'd do it myself.
No big deal though. We didn't have money for a card even so I appreciate that he felt he had to "designate" a gift....so I wouldn't feel he forgot about me. But he was moody most of the day so that was very disappointing. Probably because of the money situation and feeling guilty about not buying me a gift.

awww...well I gave my son $10 last weekend, and he decided to spend it all on me for Mother's Day. What a sweetie huh. I got a vase with some flowers, a beautiful card, and some body wash. He couldn't wait so I got my Mother's Day gifts on Thursday! LOL. My husband took me out for a nice steak dinner.

Well, I'm only a Step Mom and I didn't get anything. I guess there is not a holiday for the step parents... but there should be......we might not be the mom's and dad's but we are part of the family too and have not been recognized.

A hand made valentine from my 6 yr old, that said she loved me because I was nice and pretty. Lunch from my guy and a gift basket from my mom. What more could I ask for.

my 9yr old son made gave me a flower shaped candle in a little flower pot. he made it in school.he want's me to light it but i don't have the heart.
