I'M 60. i'm so sorry for my ignorance in the past. She's refused to talk or allow me to see her daughter-I did do a lot of bad things-years ago--I've changed. My son, who is a police man, has seen the change and is supportive. Even he can't reason with what was my favorite daughter. It's been five years since I've seen her-her baby doesn't have a grandmother as the paternal grandmother died befor her birth. I am willing to do anything to right my wrong-doing--on my knees if necessary! I love my daughter, and I miss her. I'm a widow-and a piece of my heart is,seemingly forever, gone. Please try to take the time to advise of what to do., as I am willing to do anything!

we had a gorgeous home, cars, trips, jewelry, the man spoiled me endlessly. Unfortunately, I was NOT happy and always felt like I had a hole in my heart. I didn't love him, I just loved the fact he could take care of me. I left after 14 yrs and now I teach children who come from poverty, I own a small home, I've cleaned out my closets of all my fancy clothes, I sold my car and now I feel content. It was difficult for me coming from a modest background to live that way, it never felt right. I know women dream of having a life like that but I was miserable. And now trying to find a man who would not feel intimidated by that is difficult, was I so wrong to do what I did??

My almost ex-husband (divorce is final end of the month) called me last night and acted all sweet and wanted to know if I would give him a 2nd chance. I said no and he quickly turned into a mean angry man. He threatened that if he ever saw me he didnt know what he would do and if he saw me w/ another man, he would beat up both of us. I've never been afraid of him before, but the way he was talking last night scared me. I called the police and let them know what happened, but in order for them to enforce anything they would have contacted him and I didnt want him to freak out when he was already mad. I just want to move on with my life and be happy again, and he's not letting me do it. How can I make him move on and realize that there is no chance for us but he doesn't need to threaten me if I wont be with him. I'm really scared that he will hurt me sometime, what can I do to prevent this from happening???

I used to like this guy A LOT. He didn't like me earlier and when I asked him out before, he said,"No lets just be friends." Well anyways, my friends and I were playing truth or dare, and they dared me to ask him out again. So I walked over to him and said,"Ok, my friends told me to ask you out on a dare... will you go out with me?" And he said,"I dont know call me tonight and I'll tell you." He thought I was serious even after I told him it was dare. So then I saw him again and told him it was a joke and he said,"Oh... ok." Do you think he might like me now?

My father passed away 6 years ago from cancer - I was 14 (now 20)... my mom was 43 when he died. Now 6 years later ... my mom tells me and only me about this guy that she is dating. I have an older sister(25) and 2 older brothers(28,30). Out of alll the children i am the most understanding which is why i think she told me. (Other than the fact that i caught her at dinner with this guy) ... anyways ... i am totally depressed about the whole thing. I dont believe dating/getting remarried is okay. I believe that she is 49 years old ... already had 4 kids ... shes already lived her life! I am just so mad at her for doing this. I feel like my dad is mad at me because i know this and im allowing her to do it. I dont think my dad would want this. I come from a very strict Catholic family ... also we are Middle Eastern so we have very strong opinions about divorce/remarriage. Its really looked down upon in our culture.


Am i wrong for feeling this way?

hello everyone
me and my fiance have decided to go and elope instead of having a huge wedding. we cant seem to agree on a place to go for our honeymoon. any suggestions? we live in illinois and cant go to far so maybe in missouri or another state around us would be great. even if you dont have any idea where to go maybe an idea what to do lol. here are some idea we have already so you can kinda see who we are.

1) fun and peaceful and the same time

2) somewhere away from family and friends

3) we love outdoors and food lol

By boyfriend is going to college, and he thinks that we should break up, because he doesnt want to hurt me. We talked last night all night and he says he changed his mind. He thinks that if he goes to college he is going to cheat on me. He is only going to a small community college and its like 30 to 40 mile from where he stays. He loves me i love him, he says he doesnt know what he want to do. He just doesnt want to hurt me. I told him i will understand if he makes mistakes in college but dont make it a habit of cheating, cause thats what lifes about, problems. I know its hard for him not to talk to other girls, but just because he is going to college doesnt mean " all he is going to do is party and have sex with everybody". I think he needs to sit his a** down and take it one day at a time. Do you all think he is planning on cheating, he swears he is not. Do you think we should stay together because i cant see myself with out him. SHOULD WE STAY TOGETHER?

My fiance is great but we are trying too arrange our wedding but he doesn't seem to want to make decisions or talk bout it that much. The thing is I seem to be the one looking but he has said he wants to get married in march 08. He said its because its normally for a woman, but i dont want anything just to get married but i just dont wanna do it alone. Is there anyway i can get him to contribute. As i have had to book a day next weekend to have a look in the mags he bought me last week. Can anyone give me any ideas as he set the date but he seems to do things at the last minute but i dont. Can someone help me get ideas on how to get him interested in contributing towards it by giving his ideas as well. My only wish was to have my parents there but that wont happen now as my mum died 7 years ago and dad abandoned me. And i wont to share the responsibility of arranging this.

Ok so I'm 19 and I've been with my boyfriend for about 5 months, and I was a virgin up until a day ago.

Well, anyway I thought my boyfriend was a nice guy but he is a freaking physco, we had sex for the first time on saturday, and I told him to be careful, but, he wasn't ! And, then he asked if he could tie me up, I said ok, just because, and I ended up like that for about an hour even though I kept screaming at him to stop, it really freaked me out :(

Can I report him or something, this is so not cool, how could someone be so mean. He didn't even say sorry like he meant it, he just said "oh I didn't know you wanted me to stop" ?! Is he that stupid !!!

ok, my ex and i were sleeping with eachother for about 5 to six month after we broke it off. I later realized that i was pregnant a month after we officially stopped seeing eachother, he didnt want to have a child with me (he says) but before we stopped seeing eachother he constantly said to me he wished that he got me pregnant so that no one else could get me. i never could get pregnant, so he thought that something was wrong with himself. he went so long feeling like he couldnt make babies and to find out that his new girlfriend was pregnant, and thats when i broke down and told him. he wanted me to have an abortion and i was going to, i was honestly going to do it just so that he wouldnt think that i was trying to trap him we argued back and forth until 4 months and i just couldnt bare to do it anymore. she is now 11 months he saw her once but said she didnt look like him so he ?'s it we planned to test but ever since his number cut off and i need help so what to do?

My ex-gf and i were dating for 5 years, the last 1 1/2 became long distance bcs she moved back to her country and even though I wanted to marry her, i stalled. We continued going out, but apparently she starting hanging out with an old friend from college 6 months ago, and they got married 4 months later, she is now married 2 months.I had planned on marrying her, obviously I waited too long, and this kills me. However,I think this was a desperation marriage,I think she was obsessed with getting married, and thought I wouldnt ever do it.I just found out from her best friend that she did NOT invite any of her friends to this wedding. Family has money and wedding was big (many people), so that $$ was not problem.She wrote a email to her friends,said she didnt invite them because she didnt want ME to find out about the details of her wedding and ME get more upset. They were pissed off. Ladies, does this make sense? Was she embarassed? This is her wedding! And her friends not there?Why?
