By boyfriend is going to college, and he thinks that we should break up, because he doesnt want to hurt me. We talked last night all night and he says he changed his mind. He thinks that if he goes to college he is going to cheat on me. He is only going to a small community college and its like 30 to 40 mile from where he stays. He loves me i love him, he says he doesnt know what he want to do. He just doesnt want to hurt me. I told him i will understand if he makes mistakes in college but dont make it a habit of cheating, cause thats what lifes about, problems. I know its hard for him not to talk to other girls, but just because he is going to college doesnt mean " all he is going to do is party and have sex with everybody". I think he needs to sit his a** down and take it one day at a time. Do you all think he is planning on cheating, he swears he is not. Do you think we should stay together because i cant see myself with out him. SHOULD WE STAY TOGETHER?

No you should not stay together. Your both too young to be in a committed relationship. Go out and meet other people and if you are meant to be together you'll find your way back into each others lives. This way you won't have any regrets or what ifs.

I think you two are still young and you both need time to enjoy life you have all the time in the world to settle down one day but as for now live your life while you two have no responsibility. Soon you will see all that will come and when it dose happen you don't what to look back an think man I wish I could have done this and that. And honey one other thing never give any man permission to cheat on you. That is a big no no!

Your boyfriend obviously thinks that he is going to cheat on you when he goes to college, or he may have a guilty concence and already cheated on you and using this as an excuse?
Its entirely up to you if you think you can trust him enough not to cheat on you...but if i were in your shoes i would break up with him, because no doubt he's gonna make a lot of new friends at college, and you know what guys are like when they're with their mates....his mates will push him to cheat on you, they won't be on your side one whether they know he has a girlfriend or not.
Take this as an opportunity to get a fresh new start, go to college, make new friends and let your hair down without having to worry about what your boyfriend is up to and if he's cheating on you.

I don't like to be the bearer of bad news, but if he really loves you cheating should not be an issue. He should care about you and respect you enough to wait for your visits. He seems to be giving himself an "out" and you're giving him permission to cheat on you occassionally. You need to make him understand that you respect yourself more than that. Either he loves you and ONLY you or you need to find the man that does.

Sorry, but I think u should dump the guy. From the sounds of it he doesn't seem to be able to control himself, he's even admitted that he may sleep with someone else. Jeez, he's not very committed, if he really cared for u the thought wouldn't even cross his mind. I'm surprised ur actually ok with him telling u this. My advice; break up with him, u can do better.

I think is letting you down easy and he is being honest so let him go and if he comes back it was meant to be. Otherwise you maybe setting yourself up far a bad deal because you can t make someone feel something they do not.

cheating is a choice that someone makes --- no one forces you --- so i suspect he is planning on "making whoopee" at college
it is very simple to not cheat --- you dont --- sure talk to other ladies --- it would be difficult not to but he does not have to sleep with them or even consider sleeping with them --- im sorry he may not care for you that much --- best wishes
