I met a guy in a club on saturday nite, spoke to him most of the nite, we go on wellish (i think), few kisses and he saw me home etc, he took my number but i havent met anyone ages in that way and just wondering if a guy takes your number in a bar how long it would be before he'd call you or text, if he actually liked you at all. Not that bothered if he calls one way or the other but i am curious what the avergae kinda turn around time for a guy to get in touch if he likes you after the initial meeting is. See i think since its monday and i met him sat nite then since havent heard frm him means that hes not interested, but my friend reckons its taken guys aot longer to respond. (Actually not 100 percent sure he has my number, was hard to see typing it in, in the taxi, but im just goin to assume he has)

Here's my situation, my sister had a baby in Febuary, he is going to be 3 months. She hardly is ever with the baby. They both live with me. She is in and out all day everyday, she does not pay attention to him when she is home. The father of her baby is not in his right of mind right now, he is recovering from a liver transplant. My husband and I want to adopt him, since his parents are not really around, how can we go about doing this?

Ok I know what are d odds, but Im gonna try even though I know its a long shot, but of course do I have any of his info? NO! I have some his cousin/maybe best friends info! So here goes...His cousin/s name is Carlos & he wears glasses. He works as a police officer maybe the gang unit somewhere in d DC metro; could be DC,MD, or VA. Carlos has a younger sister around 15/16. The guy I'm trying 2 find I dont know his name but he works in a bank. I met him at Club Avenue almost a yr ago and lets just say he was a wild&crazy dancer w/my friend. She switched dancing w/him & I was the switch off. My daughter doesn't smile much anymore and always in her room, I have noticed a change with her when I started to date my hubby now, 3 yrs in total. He is very stricked with her, and I am more layed back. There is no sexual or phyical abuse going on, but I think maybe mental. She only acts sad when he's around, and when he leaves she is back to her bubbly self again.
She wants to move away, what should I do? I have a 8 month old baby with him, should I leave cause my daughter is so unhappy or should I stay and try to help her?

My husband and I spent the weekend with his parents, and he went off to work already, but I am still here... Last night about 2am the power went off, and so all of the alarm clocks in the house are not set to alarm anymore... His mother is a teacher, and she needs to be up early (I just don't know when, exactly!!) It's almost 6am, and I know I've been over here before around 6:30 am and she's already left for work. Should I risk going in and waking her up and explaining about the alarm clocks? Or maybe she woke up in the middle of the night and seen it and corrected the problem? Then maybe she'll be mad at me for waking her too early! lol. What do I do??

I thought i have told my penpal my nationality and I asked hers.
she told me where she was from but had written
" where are you from .I guessed where you are from but i dont want to be presumptuouse about those kind of things."

what does presumptuouse mean?
does it mean that i have crossed the line and have been rude or poked my nose into her buisness?
what should i tell her now?

we broke up after 8 months. he has alot of problems at home, and he's looking at his future too. he has no room for me in his head or his heart right now. he told me that. he apologised. he wanted me to know how he was feeling. but it was hard, because we were at that really emotional "make or break" stage where we either fully open up to eachother, or start pulling away. he was withdrawing.
he broke up with me at 6 months because he freaked, and thought it was the right thing to do. we got back together, and i needed reassurance and affection, but he couldn't give me as much as i needed because of how he was. i believe he loves me, and i believe it when he says i was the best thing to ever happen to him. and he's sorry it had to work out this way. i miss him so much. i wish i could hate him but i think he gave me the best he was capable of, which wasn't enough because of timing.

what should i do? I haven't had any sex in a year. People are crazy you know. And i have known this man for 11 years he has a child with my ex husbands niece. spent a lot of money on the house which was not necessary at all I feel that we should save money and as she is living all alone in that big house i dont see the point in maintaing so many rooms spending like hell for wardrobs and all .it is a known fact that me and husband are never going to go settle there hence i feel that its wastage of money but if i say this to my hubby he gets annoyed he never understands that i want the good of the family . we had a fight no. of times over this issue i dont knw wht to do
