i read somewhere that men (and women) look up to, admire, find it contagious and want to be around people who are happy and confident. I am not self confident and i know my husband finds it unattractive b/c i am kinda jealous. He gets nervous when a pretty woman passes by b/c he thinks I'm going to say "I saw you looking at her" or something like that. I already know I'm wrong for giving in to my insecurities and I often imagine myself stopping cold turkey and him being amazed at my change and finding a new found attraction to me in my new state of confidence. But how do i go about being that way? I wish i could be the type of woman to which my husband can say "she enjoys her life and no matter that we're broke with 2 young kids who drive us crazy, i lost my job but darnit, she's a happy camper!"

My friend, despite EVERYONE'S advice NOT to sleep with him, slept with a married man on a business trip two months ago. I am married and feel terrible for the wife. Do I hold any responsibility for telling his wife?

I think it may be important for the wife to be tested, my friend has unfortunately been around the block more than a few times so to speak.

I was not involved in the infidelity and yet I feel massively guilty that I have not yet done anything about it. I feel horribly for the wife in this situation. Would I be justified in telling the wife? Is it my responsibility or should I just let it go?

Thanks in advance!

I'm full Croatian and my fiance is American. We are having a Croatian band at our wedding play, but half the guests will not know what the songs are! I'm debating hiring a DJ to play while the band are on breaks...do you think this is a good idea? I just feel a little tacky having a great band for MY friends and family to dance to, then a DJ for all the non-Croatians.

My fiance will never know and my friends won't say anything right? My fiance is probably going to do it so I can to right? Look I love my future hubby but I figure with all the stories and us NOT avioding such celebration as in naked humans of the oppisite sex.. jiggling and rubbing against my MAN then use it to my advantage..Is this wrong to think? I mean he won't know and it's my last time..heehee...

I'm curious because I have heard different opinions from different men about what they think about when they watch porn. If you are watching porn while having sex with your wife/girlfriend, what are you thinking about?
Please be honest. I am seriously curious.

A teen girl has a friend that she has known pretty much for 10 years. This friend, a guy, has been in the same classes as she for most of elementary school years and also has been in many same junior high (middle school) classes. They have been friends all along for a long time. However, recently, this guy has become more rude, and stand-offish, and even accused the teen girl of being a "goodie-goodie." The teen girl likes this guy as a long time friend, but is becoming more and more saddened by his apparent rudeness. It is always been a strickly platonic friendship and definitely not a romantic one. He has begun calling her disparaging names. Like, "ugly" or "you're too tall for a girl." So, my question, after that long background summary, is what would you suggest would be the best thing for this teen to do? Should she try and continue to talk to and "put up" with her friend? Or should she move on and drop the friendship? This girl is very sensitive about it.

And why would your wife marrying another woman defeat the purpose of it?

I think this would be ideal! Just think, you and the wife get to go dating for a third partner in the marriage.

I would tell the wife to make sure she dates at least 100 chicks and to have some one night stands too.

The possibilties are endless.

I asked earlier on the topic of gay marriage and one of the responses made me think....why don't they just ban marriage?

All the people I know:

My parents, in laws, siblings, friends, co-workers......all have issues with marriage involving:

Cheating
Dissagreements on petty things
Religion
Child rearing
URGE to BREED
Etc.

Now think of the troubles that would be eliminated if there was no such thing as marriage. I think the world would be a better place.

I have been with my wife for 3 years, I'm 25 and she's 26. I have spoke to her about trying to stop going clubing with her friends but she says no. She goes clubing like ones a month or twice months. For me I don't think the wife should go clubing with out the husband...AND>>>>We do go out together clubing sometime but still wants to do it with her girlsfriends too.

ok.. so here´s the deal
1.I have always been really smart and responsible, and suddenly I started failing a lot because I couldn´t do my homework, I really really can´t concentrate. I´ve tried. And what I do do comes out wrong!.
2. My family always compares me with my brother, and at last I had an opportunity to show my parents and all of them that I´m intelligent too, but I didn´t pass to the next stage of a competition, only to the first one. I´m sure I could have passed!!!! and won even, but I got so distracted.
3. I´m seriously in love, I´ve tried and CAN´T forget him and I´ve tried to do other things to get my mind of it but I can´t.

As u see, love, family and school are all at stake here.
Please, what can I do to make things right again?! this is all happening because of my love.. he dosen´t love me back, but I feel as if we were meant for each other like Romeo and Julliett, I know SOMEDAY he´ll take notice of me, but right now he has a GF.
I´m done for.

I am 44, about a year off of a divorce, was married 17 years...my problem is, it seems all women are ready to be in love and serious....after just a few dates...I have met some nice girls and probably could get serious in due time....I try to explain that I want to take it slow get to know each other..but that seem to offend them even more....
It's not that I don't want a serious relationship....for me that takes time...I guess it could be me...I haven't been in the dating game for a long time...any woman out there with advice...I would be happy to listen...

my girlfriend broke up with me out of no where - had the best relationship, everything was going great - talking bout marriage, kids, moving in together etc - out of no where she calls me and says i need time/ space to myself and we didnt talk for 2 weeks - i gave her space, but i wanted to let her know that i am there for her no matter what - i wrote her a letter saying that and we could get through this together - she responded acting nasty and mean, when all i wanted to do was tell her that i am there for her - then she acts mad at me like i am the one who did something wrong - now i know that u cant go from loving someone more than life to 12 hrs later not wanting to talk to them ! does this sound familiar to anyone or is this common? could she be pushing me away because she is scared that i am the one for her or did something just go off in her head? opinions please

When I was 14 I got and messed up. For some months I gave my parents a hard time. I wasn't being myself. They decided to punish me harshly. I truly regretted and decided to change, but they were unforgiving. I lost their trust, so I got devastated, asked for forgiveness but they didn't accept. For 4 months I suffered a alot, did my best to regain their trust, but nothing. My gradeds dropped, I got into a deep depression. My grandma helped me and my parents agreed I spend some time with her. She gave me love and trust, what I needed most and y life changed completely! I was happy w/ her, never got in any trouble, volunteered for social activities, found myself again. Today I'm 20, graduating in Medicine. My grandma passed away, but left me an apartment and assets. I'm doing great and haven't seen my parents for 2 years. Now they desperately want me back. But they were so cruel, couldn't understand a 14 yo girl, tortured me emotionally that I simply cant see them.
