I hope you meant or live off your family's money; and, if you did, please understand that having a family with money is great, but you need to pursue your life's dreams. Working in a career choice will give you a feeling that the family money won't. You will have more self respect and since of purpose in life, but the family money can still serve as an enhancement to live a lifestyle that is better than what your job might be able to let you do. Money is nice but it can't provide you with the good feelings that you have when you know that you did a good job in your work.

I am not quite sure what your situation is, but you can have both. Have a job and also have your family's money. If you have a real family they will respect you for having a job. That will show them that you are goal oriented and you want to do something with your life. That will also give them that chance to be proud of you for accomplishing something in your life that maybe not very many of them did. Like I said, I do not know your whole situation but I do hope this helps. Besides, you will eventually get bored. I did! There is just so much that you can do with your time.

If your family is giving you money - use it for a nice nest egg. But definitely be independent. Live off of your income, and use the family money as security. Make a name for yourself.

My job is important. It is why I can provide for my family but my family is also important. It is the main reason I work. I would never die for my job but I would die for my family.

This is whats wrong with America now, that people even ask this question. Alot of people are born into money, its easy and takes no talent to be born rich. Anyone worth their salt is open to the opportunity of getting whats given them and making it better or more. People who are content to merely use what is given them are a waste of protoplasm.

To create a sense of who you are a job would be good. Money may still be there but you'll earn more respect, I would hope, by proving yourself.
