if there's someone for everyone, how comes some many people never find that special person their whole lives ?

guess u can tell by my question i'm wondering will i be lonely forever?
i've been single too long, everyone I date just hurts me & all i want to do is begin to share my life with my soul mate!!
Is that so much to ask!!

Perhaps you are spending too much effort on finding "the one". Yes, I do believe there's someone for everyone, but you can't just expect that person to come along and sweep you off your feet. Chances are, you won't notice that person if they fall short of your expectations and you'll continue to wait. You need to be open to finding the one that's right for you. Yes, there's always a risk at being hurt. There always is concerning love. My advice is to spend some time just enjoying life. Find a hobby or take a class on subject matter that interests you. Try to meet new friends. Don't worry so much about finding "the one". That person will come along when you least expect it. If you are obsessed with finding "the one", chances are you won't recognize that person.

It is even worse to have been married and thinking you have found the one only to be let down and hurt beyond belief then to have to go back into the God awfull dating scene where all you meet are jerks,sleaze balls and weirdos,when all you really want is true love with a decent guy a soul mate,I feel your pain and it's good to know there are some decent people out there that are looking for the real thing and not like 99%of the people out there looking for casual hook ups and mind games...Good luck
