Sometimes we have to take the hard decisions and the fact that you are not already married is proof enough that you cannot do for him what the rest of your life could mean so let him go. Dont have it on your conscience you certainly tried hard enough. ~~

I do think you should spend some time with him because who knows he may not be here tomorrow and it would eat you alive to know you did not spend any time with him. It sounds like you do love each other but are afraid of the unknown. If you do love each other you will find the strength together to overcome anything with confidence. Put faith and trust in each other to be there for that person.

I have kidney problems... That doesn't require you to quit your day job and take care of him... You are being pretty selfish and I think it's pretty awesome that he proposed twice... My boyfriend would have taken off cause there's no room for being selfish in a relationship

I'm so sorry sweetie, this is a tough one...all i can say is, if he is the one you truly love, then wouldn't you give your all for himn? if you were the one suffering wouldn't you want him to take care of you? I'm not saying you need to marry him...but don't do something you'll regret later like leaving him for good. talk to him about it and be honest, who am i to say? I know it'll be one of the hardest things you'll ever do if you care for him but it could be one of the best too...God Bless

If you love him like you're claiming.. you won't care about the odds of his sickness/illness and the distance. You would do anything for him.. even the risk/knowing of losing him forever.

Otherwise, it's not meant to be.

I don't have an answer to your question but listen to what your heart tells you. If you love him much then you'd be by his side through thick and thin. You can cherish the good times with him, even if it means you're going to have to fill his needs.
