we have mutual friends and must be civil to eachother once in a while. we broke up 2 years ago or so, and i finally am over it as of this past summer. however, when we have to spend time together, i'm always the one asking him the questions about his life. he has not initiated the slightest exchange since we broke up. he is absolutely emotionless around me.

I didn't cheat on him, I just told him he lied to me and I couldn't be treated a certain way and I told him to leave my house. since then he's been an icicle.

if he didn't care, wouldn't he be a little more receptive? you know, normal? i have a feeling things will never be normal between us.

I guess my question is:
What could be the reason he is acting like this, and what could I do to make the situation more smooth?

i know he is not interested in me and that's not what i'm fishing for. it's just really uncomfortable to have an "enemy" around when hanging with friends. it's like a super-dislike

My boyfriend and I have been together nearly a year. For awhile now I am always the one who asks for sex and he puts it off a few times before he finally gives in. He seems into it when we do it but not really excited about it. I doubt that he is sleeping with anyone else because I'm with him most of the time and I don't notice anything suspicious. I want to be exciting to him and enticing, not be a chore to have sex with. I try to suggest new things and ask him what his fantasies are but he never really answers me or says "i don't know". We are on vacation in a tropical location and tonight we went to a sex shop at my suggestion and got toys and a video and he ended up going to bed early saying his stomach hurt. I don't think he was trying to get out of it, but at the same time I don't think using the new toys mattered too much to him.

This is getting me down a lot and I've tried everything. Any ideas?

I Have a Question I want to ask...
Okay, I Have a boyfriend who is totally consumed with TV and Materialistic things that its driving me crazy. but that's not the problem, the problem is he talks about Female Celebrities and how pretty they are all the time and Compare me to them, and of course I turn out --- "Okay" ex. Beyonce the r&b singer he absolutely gloats over, Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry the Actress. and he has this "Thing" for lighter complected females and it makes me feel bad because I'm a soft brown complexion(not that i am ashamed) and it makes me think, why did he choose me to be with if I'm the Opposite of what he dreams of? SO, the question I am asking, should I give him the boot and leave him alone. Or should I just forget about the whole thing because it's silly. I Really truly Love Him, I would die for him, but I have doubts that he loves me the same way. Please Help,

I am a very emotional guy - my dad died of cancer and my first fiance broke it off with me. Soon after, I met this girl who was really special, but I was pushing everybody away because I was afraid of losing more people I loved. I really hurt this girl, even though I didnt mean too. I thought about her alot, but thought she hated me so I tried to move on and I met another girl whose dad was dying of cancer - I got emotional, I asked her to marry me before he died. Now Im so unhappy - I feel unappreciated and unloved and I was thinking about this other girl and I contacted her & found out she still loved me, so I started having an emotional affair with her. I lay in bed at night next to my wife and think about her - I close my eyes and feel the electricity in our kiss. So I told the girl & we got pretty down & dirty in our emails, but I got scared because Im supposed to be a good christian so I broke it off & hurt this girl again. My bf is graduating this winter,but he didn't even apply for a job!!!!

He told me,that he will take 1.5 years off,travelling,doing whatever he likes,enjoying life,and then get into law school the year after next year.

I am concerned that he is so lay back that he wastes the most crucial years in his life! If he wants to go to law school,he should apply for an intern and work for 1 year instead of fooling around!

Am I wrong?

If you are being an @$$, I tell you. If you did something dumb, I tell you. If you say something that hurts me, I tell you. Straight forward...nothing mean or too nice. I just tell you.

I expect the same in return, though!!!! If I did something dumb, I want you to put me in my place and tell me I did something dumb. If I say something that is hurtful, I want you tell me that I'm acting like a *****. Is this so hard to ask???

Yet some guys that I date think that I'm being mean to them...why is this??? I just tell them that they're being an @$$ and to knock it off or whatever. I just want them to know so that they can correct the way in which they handle things with me so that communication can open up more between the two of us. I don't want anyone to candy-coat things when I do something dumb, I just want to know. Why is this so hard to accept??

I just want to be up-front with my guys. I want them to be up-front with me.

My boyfriend says he loves me, and takes GREAT care of me emotionally, but he does look at other women and has cheated 2x during our relationship...but I LOVE LOVE him to death.

On the other hand, I just met this guy, who is OK, nothing is going on, but he is a true sweetheart, not the kind to cheat, and keeps telling me that he cares A LOT for me and that he wants to build a future, and all the other things I never heard from my boyfriend...the only drawback is that I just met him AND he is not as successfull as the BF.

What would you do, ladies?

I don't want to be a pushy parent, but I would like to see my children having a hobby, whatever it is they're interested in. I would like to know how to create that desire in them to have hobbies and how young can I start?
The hobbies I meant should not be watching TV, chatting, shopping or hanging out with friends, but something that's more productive that they enjoy.

I was told by my father that my sons should call him...he even purposely did not send my 11 yr old a card or a gift on his birthday....because he says he hasn't heard from them....but he has not picked up the phone either......My sons are 11 & 13......my dad lives in TX...he chose to move away........
My kids are kids....I believe it is the basic "out of sight out of mind" senerio....if you want to have a relationship with a kid and you are an adult ....you should call the child.......kids don't think about you unless you make sure they do...........Agree? or am I wrong?

Like a lot of u may or may not know about my racist neighbor that bandelice all our homes we have all these prof, security videos etc. so now we all got a lawyer to take care of all of this, well this neighbor has a restraining order because when he got arrested he started to treat everyone and also assaulted the police (one women and her partner) they had to call a lot of other officers to the block. well know everyone to knows that he will be forced to move and pay every single family that lives in this block a certain amount for all the damage he caused, and all of the other neighbors have decided to pitch in to buy his property, tear it down, and built a nice hall to have parties in they’re whenever we all want. I don’t mine about that is just that I don’t fell right doing sow I think that this person is going to get even more mad when we purchase the place do u think is right?

I feel like I am being pulled one side to another when it comes to my parents. Dont get me wrong, I love them both with all the kaos. But my dad only calls me when he want to talk about his problems with my mum, it seems he tries to find out information to get my mum in trouble so that he will not pay child support for my brother who lives with my mum. (I live in a different home.)

I feel like Im being used because he never used to call or contact me until now, when he's going on about how bad my mum is. What on earth do i do?

I dont know how to handle this. We have a long distance relationship and due to mainly financial strains she can't live out on her own. They have seperate sleeping quarters and etc. but I know that he is still trying to salvage their marriage from divorce. They live together and while they spend little time together and he knows about me sometimes I don't know how to handle this. They haven't annoucned their seperation to most of their family and only few friends have some idea but not even the full picture. They do have a son together whom is two and many of their joint activities is for the sake of him. Yet because they still live together some of the activities aren't like "normal" seperated couples. They go to the neighbors house for get togethers, out to dinner, and I guess if more people knew that they were at least having martial problems it wouldn't be so hurtful. I don't know if I am being insecure, jealous, or what...so please give me some insight as 2 how 2 handle it?
