in life you probably only have 5 or less truly good friends ever. Ones that you would trust and they trust you. Friends need to be chosen carefully. Have loads of mates/aquaintences, but only a few carefully chosen friends. and even then, their family or needs would come before yours, when the chips are down!

My friends from kindergarten and I still hang out together,although we study at different colleges now.So what do you think? Are we included in the good friends you are looking for?

Yes, Im one of them. Keeping in touch, being there for the person, trust & accepting a person as he/she is are some of the most important ingredients to a successful friendship.
