If you are being an @$$, I tell you. If you did something dumb, I tell you. If you say something that hurts me, I tell you. Straight forward...nothing mean or too nice. I just tell you.

I expect the same in return, though!!!! If I did something dumb, I want you to put me in my place and tell me I did something dumb. If I say something that is hurtful, I want you tell me that I'm acting like a *****. Is this so hard to ask???

Yet some guys that I date think that I'm being mean to them...why is this??? I just tell them that they're being an @$$ and to knock it off or whatever. I just want them to know so that they can correct the way in which they handle things with me so that communication can open up more between the two of us. I don't want anyone to candy-coat things when I do something dumb, I just want to know. Why is this so hard to accept??

I just want to be up-front with my guys. I want them to be up-front with me.

P.S. I know I can get out of line like everyone else, but I just don't respect a guy that can't tell me to f*ck off if I do that to him....I just want them to be as honest with me as I am with them. Now really...is it that hard to tell someone that they've hurt you or that you've crossed a line?? I think not!

For a woman, you indeed are a rare breed. Most woman I have dated, do the, "I know I told you you could be honest with me, but read between the lines" game with us guys. The guys who you've dated probably don't know how to handle a girl who actually means what she says in this regard.

You aren't mean...they're just sissies!!!

No the real reason is that so many girls are all like "candy coat" things for me so I feel better and then when a man gets a real woman who wants to know the truth, they don't know what to expect. I'm like you. I say what I feel, just like I feel it and I'd appreciate people doing the same for me, but tha'ts not always the case. You can't change the guys you are dating, especially when there are so many other girls who are the opposite of you. I say just keep on the way you are and one day a guy will get you and love the way you are.

What you are doing is called honesty (though your delivery might need a little smoothing). A lot of people (men and women) don't want to hear the truth about themselves and don't have the guts to tell the truth about their feelings to others. Both expose their weak sides and leave them vulnerable. Keep up the good work, but maybe try adding "but I still love you" (or something like that) either before or immediately after you communicate your feelings.

Not all people are upfront, this doesnt make them bad people, its just the fact that diffrent people have diffrent personalities. Plus if you look into Astrology you will learn more about this. You most likely are a Air or Fire sign, these signs are very forward however Earth and Water does not like being so forward about things

Honesty is the only way to go. Being a little tactful cant hurt. I know I appreciate honesty but a sharp tongue can be quite discomforting. On the other hand, never, never ask if you look fat wearing whatever....us guys are doomed no matter what we say.

Great idea Babe. Make everyone a Babe clone doing things and acting just like she does. Probably be a boring world....

Why don't you lighten up and let people be themselves. Relate to them as individuals, not as objects you can mold into your own form.

P.S. congrats on the 39% BA. I'm struggling with my little 7%

Sometimes when you are brutally frank it hurts. and if a guy likes you he shouldn't say "hey bitsch you are getting fat" if you gain some weight. I think you can correct him if he's acting like an idiot but if he persists in his idiocy then you can tell him he is being a total *** and he deserves the reprimand.
