Can never say that I "took a break" from women, however when I broke up with my fiance, I stopped actively looking for women, and as it turned out, my current gf found me ^^ so, a break isn't a bad thing. Sometimes you need to step away from the forest to actually see it.

No there is nothing wrong with it. Sometimes it is good to take a break, because it will give you time to figure out what you are really looking for in the right woman. I took a break for a while and I am now married to the man of my dreams!!! It was about a 10 to 11 month break. If you feel that you need one take one.

It's okay to step out of the dating world for a while...it can be emotionally exhausting...just because you decide to stop pursuing, doesn't mean you have to ignore opportunities that come your way, if they appeal to you...

Take time to regroup...examine past relationships, dates, and even rejections...see what you can learn that might help you get more desirable results in the future...

And for the record, chicks don't dig guys who treat them like mud and that's a real annoying stereotype...typically, when we get involved with a guy like that, we didn't initially know he was that way...

Tip to become more of a chick magnet: self confidence...work on that...when you really like who you are, and your life is good (as only you can make it) and you are happy inside, that'll reflect on the outside and people will see it...people like that are ones others want to be around...

Good luck!

Hmm...been on a relationship/dating break for 4 years now myself and to be honest, about the only time I really miss it is the last 60 minutes before I fall asleep. I keed, I keed! I actually enjoy myself most of the time being solo. I do miss having a special woman in my life to do projects around the house with and have evenings out, share things with, etc. But as a firm believer in the idea that life takes you exactly where you should be...I am patient. Hang in man. :)

first usually it's girls in their 20's who like those kind of guys. Women in their 30's are the ones who appreciate you and find you attractive and are very much over those good looking guys that treat you like crap. Go for older women I think you will see a big difference in maturity.

I've done that. Actually I needed it. And I felt very clear headed once I started dating again. Congrats & enjoy your time.

Take a break. Someone very special and nice will come along when you least expect it.

take a break. who said you had to keep pursuing?? If and when it happens to happen then great but don't bother if it becomes a burden.
