Not necessarily... sometimes girls use words like sweetie, hunny, sweetheart for no particular reason other then to address someone in a nice manner. It depends how a girl says it and on her body language.

"sweetie" is kinda like a blanket term. It doesn't quite mean that she does or doesn't like you. You're gonna have to feel out the situation and see where it goes. It could mean either one. Each girl is different and "sweetie" might mean one thing to her while at the same time it may mean something totally different to another. Just stick around and see if anything happens. But don't go off of her just calling you sweetie.

Well does she say this also to the neighbors dog? Keep in mind someone maybe just nice and call everyone sweetie...it doesn't mean that she necessarily likes you. Maybe just ask her? Good luck!

I call people sweetie that are close friends and only friends. So it could mean she thinks of you as a good friend or she might mean it in a flirting type of way. It all depends on your relationship.

It depends on the person - she might be one of those people that just calls everyone sweetie, or maybe she thinks you're cute but doesn't like you in that way, or maybe she does like you! Maybe you should ask her out and find out!

Maybe...it's also a common term (like honey, sugar, baby, hun, etc) so don't take it TOO personally...I call a lot of people 'sweetie'...and although I like them all, they are not all romantic "likes"...I call friends that (male and female), as well as whomever I might be dating...
It's not a good solid sign of being liked...sorry...

Depends on a girl...if she's really outgoing and says that to everyone, then it doesn't mean so much...but any way she definitely wouldn't say that if she hated you.

Maybe, maybe not. Next time she says it, say "hmmmm...that's a little ambiguous, can you define 'sweetie'?" Her answer should tell you what you want to know.

It is just an endearing term. I say everything is HOT but it doesn't mean I am in lust or love with every guy I say is HOT. It is my vocab word for cool or narly.

It's called "flirting." There's usually not a whole lot of meaning behind that.
