Anyone know a good site to research pricing and general info for headers for a 95 Trans Am? Does anyone have any experience or know a specific type I should be looking at?

Ok people, this may sound sexist but believe you me before I was on the road I never agreed with the saying "Women are the worst drivers" as I didnt believe gender had anything to do with how a person thinks.

1) Girl at round about missed 7 chances all other cars was going around her
2) Girl stopped, didnt indicate, I went to overtake and indicated, she almost crashed into me by pulling towards me as I started to overtake (I was originally 3-4 car lengths behind)
3) Girl hit a load of cones not paying attention to the road
4) Girl went into a road with flood rain causing the car to stop and flooded the car
5) Girl races towards me when I had already started going down the road with parked cars down my lane (Didnt stop to give way as your supposed to) she realised how diff it would be and started to skid

Both fem and male comments welcome, im not saying every girl is bad just every worst driver in the world majority would be female head count, maybe due 2 to over precaution

Anyone know if I can do my motorbike license in English on Mallorca? Would the theory/practical be in the same language? And is the A license the Direct Access equivalent, ie. I would be able to drive all categories of motorcycles?
Hope someone can help me with this, because I'm dying to get cruising round this island on a bike!
Saying that, anyone who would like to join me, let me know.

Fuel injected gasoline engines cannot burn diesel fuel because of several reasons.

GASOLINE ENGINE
Computer injected, spark ignited, Low torque: total ignition at or before TDC

DIESEL ENGINE
Mechanical direct injection, Compression ignition, High torque: Prolonged diesel ignition during stroke

Solution to conversion

1)Injection system: Diesel injection pump, 2)Ignition system: Injection line heating to above autoignition, 3)High Torque: Modify injection pump to reduce injection duration at all speeds

Ok, so how can we do this?

Replace spark plugs with diesel injectors, and remove gasoline fuel injectors. Install pulley driven diesel fuel injection pump on the engine and connect fuel lines to the injectors.

So, the fuel will be delivered to each cylinder at TDC as the pump rotates.

How to ignite it?

Heat each injector line to above autoignition temperature with an electric cable heater wrapped around it. This allows cold, low compression air to ignite with fuel already at autoignition temperature. High compression air is not needed.

Now that you are setup how can you make the system create less torque so you don't destroy that gasoline engine block?

Gasoline engines cannot handle the torque levels of a diesel, they wear out very quickly. The source of diesel torque is not the fuel, but the prolonged injection of diesel throughout the power stroke.

Modify a diesel injection pump to a short injection pulse while at slow speed. This normally only happens when the pump is at high speed. If the fuel is injected very quickly rather than in an extended injection down the power stroke, torque will drop. All the while maintaining precise timing of injection and power of the engine.

You could just use a bigger injection pump pulley, but timing of injection will be off.

Now some possible feasibility conditions:

1) heated fuel results in coked(clogged) injector 2) Injector loses lubricity and wears out due to loss of viscosity due to fuel heating 3) Fuel line connection failure due to heat 4) Injection duration is not short enough at low throttle on injection pump which results in engine damaging torque

Whenever I fill up my gas tank, about 5 miles into the new tank, my car begins to buck and jerk around...it feels as if I were just pushing in the clutch over and over again...much like when someone is first learning to drive stick. In addition, when i stop and allow the car to idle, the rpms will drop and the car will stall. This only happens when I fill up the tank and after I put about 15-20 miles on the fresh tank, the bucking and the stalling stops and the car performs well.
One other interesting piece of information... there seems to be no pressure in the gas tank. When i remove the cap, I do not hear the pssssh sound of the air being released.
My mechanic is puzzled but believes the problem may be with the EGR valve. The car passed the California SMOG test just over two weeks ago. If the EGR valve was the problem would it still pass?
As always, any help would be appreciated!

Why don't we use the existing interstate system corridors to install a highspeed rail system that is capable of receiving and discharging auto's and trucks on the move. The savings in gas, wear and tear, and the reduction in pollution would be tremendous.

I'm almost 18 now. I currently drive a 1995 audi a6 with an auto tranny. Although an incredibly well appointed car with great reliability, the car is fairly slow( 0-60 in about 10.5). i've been making some money and have about 12k (assuming i sold my own car for 6k). i'm looking for something sporty yet still refined. the 95 S6 is too rare i can't find any local listings. I would like to hear your suggestions on what other car you would buy

The other night i went to turn on my 2000 honda civic and noticed that the rpms kept going up and down from 1 to about 2.5 and it wouldnt stop. I left the car on for about 5 mins still going. I popped the hood and noticed that there was a lil smoke coming out from around the headers, so i shut it off. the next morning i went out and checked my fluids and i saw tat there was low engine coolant so i put some in turned the car on it was fine. it ran fine for about 2 days and did the same thing yesterday. i checked the fluids everthing was good. i went back to check on the car the next day and the rpm going up and down had stopped but i had a check engine light. Any ideas??

I had a car that I had not used in months. I never drove it out of town or anything. But, it was not for sale. There was nothing wrong with it as far as I knew, it ran perfectly fine when I had it. The woman had even rode in it before. Anyway, she had a van that she had to junk cause it was having problems, so she begged me to sell the car to her. I eventually said I would since she was in need and it is my best friend's mom. I wanted $500 for it, and she got here, brought someone to look it over, he looked it over, they test drove it, and took it home. Well now, 3 days later she said that things are going wrong and she wants her money back. She had me write out a receipt that said I sold it to her for $50 cash and she had me put that on the title too. I told her that the receipt said as-is, so I am not giving the money back. Now she says shes gonna call a lawyer on me.

Hey all. Here's my problem: three days ago I was riding for about 20 minutes when the bike just quit, the engine kept spinning in gear but no spark. I pulled over and observed the lights and horn were weak and sluggish, and the starter motor wouldn't respond at all. I'm walking the bike back, I come to a downhill stretch 10 min later and successfully started the bike rolling down and dropping the clutch. Bike stayed running for 2 or 3 min and died again same as before. Tried push starting again unsuccessfully many times immediately after, but when I tried 20 min later it started again, went a few min, and died again, repeat for 7 miles. Assumed dead battery, charged overnight, rode about town during the day about 20 miles total and it died again same as before, no response from starter at all, won't push start either. 5 hours and out of work it starts with the starter but dies same as before 2 min later pulling into my driveway. ????? Where to start? I don't get it...

Car runs good when its cold but when it heats up it starts popping a little and light black smoke starts coming out of the exhaust. It also has a rough idle to it and has a bad odor. It's not the catalytic converter or the oxygen sensor because I've replaced both. It doesn't seem like it's lost any power either. The check engine light is on and when I check the code it just says that the system is lean. Does anybody have any ideas? It's not a major issue but I would like to get it fixed.
