What is your actual gas mileage, winter and around town? What maintenance have you had to have done on your vehicle? I have been told that the mileage figures are not real, that Toyota faked them. Do you know how to calculate your gas mileage Miles driven divided by gallons purchased, each full fill up after a full fill up? I find many people do not know how to do this! miles/gallon. I am considering buying a Prius, that is why I am writing this question. I want to figure out how many miles I need to drive to pay for the car instead of the gas I would use in my present vehicle?

The PWR lamp is lit in my 1995 Toyota Camry. Since the vehicle has no owner's manual I cannot search that resource.
I have done numerous web searches which have not provided definitive answers either. Can anyone tell me what the PWR light indicates ? There is no ECT PWR button in this vehicle.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Accidentally , I poured one bottle 12OZ of Power Steering fluid(oily) into gas tank (half filled ) in my 1999 Toyota Sienna Van.... 6 cylinder engine.
What is a proper remedy:
Shall I fill it with more gas and pour a bottle of Lucas injector cleaner or Marvel mystery oil into gasoline or do I have to get it drained completely at a high cost.

I just don't get it. Depending on your age, you probably have a brother, cousin, uncle, father, grandfather, great unlce, or great grandfather, that fought in World War II. WW2 was only about 60 years ago. that is not a very long time. In that war we fought several nations, but the main two were Japan and Germany. While the Germans were no saints, NO other country in the war was as brutal as Japan. When our fighting boys were overwhelmed and were forced to surrender, they would either be shot on the spot, tortured to death, or transported to a POW camp where they would be starved or tortured. The Japanese were(maybe still are) savages. How can any self-respecting American buy a vehicle manufactured by the grandchildren of such barbarians. Yes, they are beginning to open plants in America, but GM has many more plants here than Toyota, Honda, and Nissan combined. Domestic companies also pay more taxes.

I expect some hostile answers. Thank you and have a nice day!!

I can't seem to get the Metra ipod adapter I bought to work in my 2000 Toyota Celica. It's just supposed to plug into the back of the stereo and then u connect the pod to it. I can't seem to get the actual radio to switch to aux mode, because the ipod is recognizing the cord and is charging from it. Any ideas? Thanks -Rob
