I was driving and the temperature gauge went up but I was only a couple miles from home so I continued on hoping to check the antifreeze when I got there. Right before I made it smoke started pouring out from the hood so I stopped and turned off the car for a few minutes then drove home very slowly. When I got home I looked under the hood and it seemed like maybe the radiator was discolored (white) and there was green coolant leaked out and in small puddles. Is this really a busted radiator and is it ruined? If not, approximately how much is it for a new one and is it easy to replace?

i just recently bought a new 07 prius and im not getting 50 or 60mpg like toyota advertises. I drive really really conservatively, (if you drove behind me you would over take me and flip me off and youll be really pissed cuz i accelerate really slowly) even then i only get like 45mpg. I dont drive faster than 65 mph on the freeway either. and for the most part i dont have the ac on. How much mph are you guys getting? and i heard some ppl r suing toyota for this. can i do that? i spent a lot of money for this and im really dissapointed.

Have a 92 Camry with a Standard Trans, great commuter car, averages about 35 to 37 mpg (over 500 miles on a road trip per 15 gals of gas). Purchased it used about 8 months ago. Almost sounds like something is loose under the car and hitting the undercarriage. Usually get the noise when hitting a bump or dip in the road and sometimes that sounds close to a front shock but occasionally sounds like it's directly below the stick shift.

The two noises may be unrelated and suspect that the front shocks may have to be replaced in addition to installing a clutch kit. Also, the clutch is already suspect. Have the Haynes repair manual and will look into it.

Question: Would it be advisable to try to repair the clutch myself or better to pay someone? If I should repair it, any recommendations on a manufacturer of clutch kit? Should I replace the shocks first?

Is it worth buying a second hand engine for $1000 or getting a refund and buying another car? I don't know much about cars, or how much this type of car is worth.

I have just purchased a transmission mount for my 1995 toyota pickup.I noticed that there is a bolt that goes through (from bottom to top) the middle of the mount it's self, with a nut on the other side (top) of the mount.

Doe anyone know how far to screw, or how to set this bolt?

What is the reason for this bolt?

For anyone who own a Sienna AWD, do you find your tires wear out more serious than other cars? In average, how many miles you need to change the tires? I plan to buy one but consider if the tire wearing cost too much. Thanks!

So I just bought an 05 Toyota Corolla S on August 9th.. It had about 18,700 miles on it.. Now the engine light has popped on at 20,300 miles. And it seems like its using gas faster.

Can anyone think of what I should do? I called the dealer ship and they haven't called me back yet.

I have a 1994 toyota truck.I have had h three silla radiators replaced, and re-replaced in my truck. (taken care of by warranty)

All three times the radiator sprang a leak because part of the seam around the top(passenger) inlet separated (became unwelded). We (the mechanic and I) noticed everytime that the we reved the engine, that the engine would pull (rock),and then push back, (on the radiator hose), and in turn the top inlet of the radiator. This is what the mechanic determined caused the radiator to bust a seam.

The mechanic determined that both the motor mounts were bad, and swapped them (both) out.

Swapping the motor mounts helped, but when we did the "motor mount test" (emergency brake, let of clutch in 1st, and then let off clutch in reverse) the engine still had/has pronounced rock.

Is this a common problem?

Well, the motor mounts helped

Long story short, I just bought a 2007 Camry. Now, my question is, should I be getting the rust proof and paint sealant for my car since I live in a state that has winters? I am not sure if it is worth it or not... Just wondering what most people think and if most people got it for their brand new cars as well. Everything, rust proof and paint sealant is around 600, not including tax at Toyota.
