Good question, Great Answers. I would have to agree, nothing beats replacing with new. If this will help any, you can get manuals at www.camrymanuals.com

Removing the headlight assembly or the lens of the headlight is not required. The restoration treatment is supposed to be applied to the outer lens surface. If there is fogginess inside the assembly due to moisture, the seals holding the lens to the housing must be deteriorating and such fogginess inside the headlight would eventually reappear after cleaning. If this is not the case and the lens is just faded, using the kit on the outer lens surface will do the job.
However, I have had this restoration kit applied to the headlights of my Toyota by a car detailer and the headlights, though clear in appearance after using the kit, eventually became faded again. I would recommend replacing the headlight assembly as I did. You can get a pair of lights on eBay for very little money and your car will look much better than if you were to have used the restoration kit.

Headlights are usually sealed together with a silicone type sealer....usually buffing the outside of the lens is enough to clear them up. If you have to take it apart, you'll need to remove the headlight assembly, undo some litle metal spring clips that hold the lens to the body, cut through the sealer and separate the two halves....buff out the inside of the lens and then reglue the two halves together with a good silicone sealer from a parts store and reattach the clips.....may not be worth the trouble.
